Persepolis Medley is taken from the soundtrack of Persepolis, a French animated film based on Marjane Satrapi's autobiographical graphic novel of the same name. The story follows a young girl as she comes of age against the backdrop of the 1979 Iranian Revolution, and notes the development of politics and human rights in Iran after the revolution.
