In this #webinar, Prof Cleo Bishop, from the Blizard Institute and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London, shared about the use of a novel drug discovery platform - the Phenotypic Screening facility - to identify anti-ageing compounds and geroprotectors. Her team is interested in the role that senescence plays in ageing and cancer, and how it can be targeted for anti-ageing and anti-cancer interventions.

This is exciting. It will be very interesting to see what this new clock reports for interventions like exercise, fasting, etc. Granted there are more types of cells than fibroblasts, but memory and skin cells are very interesting, and progress seems to be rapid.
