This man, his work, his paired down approach, free of dramatic innuendos, clic baits or non sensical banter to allow his work to speak for itself, I LOVE THIS. In this day & age of shameless self promotion, where it's not important how beautiful, functional or purposeful something is but rather if some vapid celeb like Kim Kardashian barfed on it that makes any algorithm spike, i'm glad there's still some that believe that their work should speak for itself. You have earned my subscription and admiration sir, bravo !

I'm sorry, but I'm writing with a translator. I had an uncle and he also worked with wood and spoke just as much as you do in your videos. He worked calmly and precisely and watched until I was a child. Sometimes he spoke and then he spoke words of wisdom. I once asked him if this could not be done faster with another method? This is what he answered. Good work takes time, bad work takes even more time because you have to correct it. That was forty years ago, but I'll never forget it. You make great videos and it reminds me of my wonderful childhood. I also made a small DIY workshop for myself, but I can't make furniture anywhere near as nice as this. However, the smell of wood calms you down in this fast-paced world.

And a third time to check on the realization of this or that detail that I may have missed. Very impressive. If I were not 80, as a former cabinet maker, I would make one of these cabinets. Instead, I have 134 plastic peanut butter jars. I love the metal fronts along with the black exterior.

i am honoured to see that there are those of us that were taught that if the glue is oozing out of your work it is too much. i would imagine that there are those that believe otherwise but to me it is neater and less cleaning afterwards. nowadays i watch quite a few woodworkers on tube and i must congratulate you on your very entertaining and very high standard of work. only a few of my age left but i am glad to see that there are those that take so much pride in their work. looking forward for the next project.

At certain stages of Jason's builds, I think 'er, I'm not sure about this', but every time I'm left stunned by his projects. I have to accept that I just haven't got the vision. He is that rare combination of artist and artisan.
