Olha, pelo que disseram no grupo oficial do FB, não haverá novos efeitos porém o sistema irá mudar todo de forma que os patches antigos não poderão ser instalados nela. Parece que haverá novidades como mudar a configuração dos efeitos e preamps entre as cenas, tipo usar um amp na cena 1 e mudar a configuração dele toda na cena 2... talvez até sair de um preamp pra outro no mesmo patch (não entendi direito), estou curioso pra ver o que eles estão mudando. De qualquer forma eles já avisaram pra gente baixar o firmware 4.0.3 e o Quicktone e deixar salvo no computador caso a gente não se adapte ao v5 poder voltar a usar o v4.0.3. :)

@@DirectRecordingGuitar Oh, I am very familiar with the various uses of a clean boost. To raise the level of a solo so that it jumps out of a live mix. Compensating for volume loss in a pedal chain. Or to "push" the front end of an amp to create more gain and to tighten up the sound as you did with the "green pedal" in this video. All of that I am familiar with. What I am not familiar with is the use of a clean boost AFTER an amp/cab in a modeler. Never seen that done before.

If we place it before the preamp it will act in the same way as the TS. It will saturate the preamp, even if slightly little less than the TS. If we add it later, it will only increase the sound that is already ready without changing its frequencies. Like a Boss GE-7 would do when set to Flat and just increasing the volume. Yes! It will work. As we are using Vintage 30 speakers (IR), make cuts between 70Hz and 5000Hz in the IR section of the MG30.
