Between those two I would definitely go with the MG30! It has way more features as well as better tone and sound quality! I play in church every Sunday with the MG30 and it’s great whether it’s through and amp or DI into the front of house🙌🏼❤️

A lot of people on forums say they sold their ge200 because the MG-30 fucks it up in a major way

Hey Renato, that’s a great question.. so if you want to get your raw amp sound you would have to ensure that your IR block is switched off.. then depending on the type of amp you can select it from the output mode. (remember you do have to press the save button after selecting the output mode) Hope that helps. Also ensure that your are wiring the 4 cables correctly… There are a couple of different ways people run the 4CM, but this works the best normally. Guitar -> Guitar Input Send -> FX Loop in on Amp FX Loop out of Amp -> Return Output -> Front end of Amp Hope that helps🙌🏼😃

Hey Benjamin, I’m not too sure if I understood your question properly. But yes, you should be able to record through the interface and at the same time keep the pedal connected through the USB. But on your DAW you would have to select the audio interface as the Steinberg UA22. I don’t see why that shouldn’t work. Let me know how it goes! Would love to know how it functions!🙌🏼👍🏼

Hey Pratyul I think the MG30 can get some really nice ambient sounds! There are beautiful delays as well as reverbs which can really make a lush space of sound! I use the MG30 in church on sundays as well, and get some great worship ambient tones! Hope that helps!❤️🙌🏼

NUX mg30, hands down is the best. In terms of tone as well as functionality! It is also the most advanced in terms of its user interface!🙌🏼

Hey TK, yea the IR section is just as good as the optima air. With the user interface of the screen on the MG30 I feel it might be even better!

Yes the NMP2 has 3 modes you can toggle between (open, close, and latch). So it can function as momentary or latch type!🙌🏼❤️

Hey Andrew, i have both the pedals. I used the Cerberus for about 3 years and switched to the MG30 about 6 months back! The MG30 has everything the Cerberus has and MORE! The MG30 is one of the best pedals I’ve played through with excellent sounds and functionality. I used a helix for a while too and the MG30 just blows that thing out of the water when it comes to sound quality and functionality. The only thing is that scrolling through patches is only through up and down toggles. I would definitely go with the MG30 though any day!🙌🏼❤️

I think you can do this from the computer app.. if not, you will have to save in a different spot and then overwrite the earlier one.👍🏼

I would suggest the mg30.. however now there are some newer pedals aswell which sound really great. Such as the Ampero 2

@@SheahanDevadoss Thanks Sheahan! If helpful for you to know, sadly I had to return mine to the Guitar Center. I asked for a replacement mg30, but it’s in back order. I should have my new one end of Jan. With my original over the span of 4 weeks, I ran into an issue where it would lose volume and effects in the middle of playing a song. When that happened the master volume became completely disabled, but strangely whe it was at zero I was still getting a bit of sound. I isolated the issue to the mg30 itself. It was not my amp, send/receive ports, or cables. I was using the cable method with output setting set to front combo. So it seems there was an electronics issue with my specific mg30. I’m hopeful my replacement unit when it comes in will have none of that. Thanks again. Andres

Hey Dave! So you can check out all the stuff that came in the box during the unboxing section of the video… there wasn’t a USB cable inside. 🙌🏼 it’s just a standard USB-C cable, so it should be easy to find one! Hope that helps!👍🏼❤️

Mine (which arrived on June 1st) came with a USB cable and a standard jack cable as well.

That’s a great question. Very honestly I haven’t tried the Ampero yet. Still waiting to get my hands on one! As far as the line 6 stuff, I have compared it to a helix and honestly it blows the helix out of the water🔥 It sounds so much more natural and much less digital!🙌🏼

Great question… so I actually have the Cerberus as well and used that for more than 3 years now… The MG30 has everything that the Cerberus has, and then has even more!!🔥 What I mean by this is, that the Mg30 can do everything that the Cerberus can do in terms of tones and functions… But the Mg30 also has so many more tones and features that you will not be able to get on the Cerberus… 🔥 The Mg30 took everything good about the Cerberus and made it better!🙌🏼🔥

That’s a great question… I haven’t tried any of the Hotone stuff… I have played the ZoomG5 which is the previous version of the G6… the Zoom stuff sounds good, but personally I feel the NUX sounds are much better! The NUX MG30 sounds much better than the Line 6 Helix and the Boss GT1000 which are two of the biggest names in the market right now… and the features the MG30 has are amazing too! Hope this helps!

You will have to save the patch you want swapped in another patch location first and then save over.. not sure if there is a “SWAP” function yet! But definitely send a message to NUX on IG and FB and I’m sure they will add it in the next firmware update!

The MG30 has much better sound quality, as well as many more features and functionality. The GT1 is quite old now, and there are plenty of other options that are better than it. But the MG30 is the best in that entire segment!🙌🏼❤️ hope that helps
