Anyone using a GTX card or older (not including 1660s) don’t qualify for the system performance overclock settings. You need RTX 20 series, GTX 16 series or newer.

Every time I tried using the Nvidia App's overlay while taking a screenshot it's completely black and can't seem to fix it. Is there any way to solve this? I mostly play in fullscreen borderless mode, sometimes changing it to fullscreen seems to fix the problem, but not in all games tho. Is there a fix to this?

Cool app for sure but was resetting my recording every time I tabbed out of the game, so I lose everything I wanted to record. Installed old version of GeForce experience, now recordings work fine. If they fix that, I might switch to this.

My 3080 clocks dropped using the new overclock method in the nvidia app. Easily hits 2000mhz on clock stock but with this it dropped it to 1685 and lost a lot of fps in gpu bound areas.

The reason bit rate can go from 150 to 250mbps will be the dual AV1 encoders for RTX 4070 Ti onwards that has dual encoders but also there is a 12GB limitation of VRAM needed. As for overclocking i still prefer MSI Afterburner because of it's curve so it slightly undervolts and even with a pitiful 105% power increase my RTX4070 Ti Super hits around 2.85-2.9GHz boost depending on the game.

I just did a manual OC for my 3090 that is as good as that OC without issues and less voltage than stock. It's easy to do for both the 30 and 40 series cards, but I do understand why some people would rather just do this.

I didn't realize the app got an update. I know the gpu did but not the app. Let's goo! Been loving this beta app. Mine didn't update? Mine didn't even give me the option. Wtf? Maybe I did it and didn't realize it haha. I've already had all of this though. Everything you showed has been there. Ok I realized you are super late. you can already enable that with the Alt+Z overlay. The only thing that's missing from there is the RAM usage statistic, but GPU, CPU, VRAM etc are all there

You don't have an overclock running or anything in another app? Web browsers, discord and Spotify also use hardware acceleration so you could temporarily close those and try :)

I have several performance problems with this new Nvidia App on RTX3070: caused CS2 stuttering and input lag incease, performance stats bar is not working properly (stuck on the same value). Auto tuning option cause to use my GPU at 100% even when I'm not playing anything at all, and all my games started to become very laggy when this option is on. So I don't use it. I'm rolling back to Geforce Experience 😕

Does it though? Can you change your fan curve, undervolt, is the monitoring as good etc. You still can’t use RTX HDR if you’re using more than one monitor btw.

@@Simon_Denmark Calm your nips, bro. Your hardware tool isn't your identity. It technically is undervolting when you set the parameters to use less power/voltage and it still sets higher clocks as was in my case. The monitoring is better for me than Rivatuner and RTX HDR is amazing even if doesn't fit your personal situation. BTW, I have found out since making that post that MSI Afterburner is still the better way to go for fine tuning but Nvidia's auto tuner gave me some ideas on how I could safely push my card further so it's not like it was a complete waste.

I don't know how the monitoring can better when you can pull sensor data from so many places like HWinfo. I also didn't say that it's a complete waste. They promised RTX HDR support for dual or more monitors ages ago almost immediately when they released it. It's not just my personal situation, it's a situtation for a lot of people. I'm not waiting for that anymore though and rather use native HDR, Reshade HDR or Special K HDR.

Either way, I like Nvidia's hardware status tracking more because it's no less detailed than rivatuner and I like the customization more. Plus, if you have a monitor that supports the feature (like mine) it can also show you detailed info about your input and system latency. Yeah, I've tried those other solutions and RTX HDR just looks great where the other ones don't on my display.
