@Nick Williams AI is being used with Metaverses which are all decentralized and there is not one but many companies working on their own metaverses, currently they are using cryptocurrencies to raise funds, so the owners will be those who see the future coming and invest early.

It makes more sense for a GPU maker to create this than a company like Facebook (Meta). It relies so much on hardware simulation…but maybe a company like Amazon makes more sense because of their experience creating huge data centers.

Ok... this lets me know for sure that Jenson is really smart. I've been saying for a while now that AI needs to be developed inside of virtual environments (like creating virtual dimensions) where they don't know they're even in our reality until we can trust them.

@@fincarosa But they were going to do that anyway. But this will happen long before we reach the point of true AI sentience. The military would not use more advanced AI because they wouldn't want it thinking too much. Just follow orders while a human simply picks the targets on google maps. And then you'd have robots like kevlar-covered roombas going to destroy them. Ie. Boston Dynamics.

No one will care about climate. All will be accessed virtually. No one will care and that is why this is dangerous tech. Baron lands will be full of skyscrapers containing humans living in a fantasy world, air-con blasting. The real world will become so toxic and unappealing, no one will care.
