Nvidia's fall is 'way overblown': Kenny Polcari

Kace Capital Advisors founder and CEO Kenny Polcari joins Morning Brief to give insight into Nvidia's recent performance and how he thinks the stock will perform moving forward.
Polcari explains that reactions to Nvidia's downturn are "way overblown": "I don't think people need to be nervous about what's happening in Nvidia. They should not be surprised. The stock has done nothing but go up in a straight line. So a 13% pullback, yes, does represent a little bit of a sale," he adds. Polcari tells clients to focus on the long-term story and to take this moment as an opportunity to be strategic.

It's certain that this year will bring more challenging challenges. Looking back, I realized that I spent the entire previous year making expensive financial blunders because I was so consumed with worrying about my portfolio. I was forced to decide between raising my investments and purchasing a home. I discovered that the property I had bought needed more work than I had anticipated after deciding to sell my investments. Invest in companies that provide current cash flows to diversify your portfolio. If you are only 36, you can take risk. If you strongly believe NVDA reaches 200 in 4 months, you can buy long call option (said $195 strike price, expired Dec 2025 is about $16 per contract). By doing options, you don't have to loan or loan too much.

@@Nvidia-Lover you seem like a great person. I really appreciate you caring and giving me advice. Here is the thing, i have never done options. I do have a little idea how they work and they seem like gambling to me. While right now i have 35k invested in Nvidia as my own capital. I am in roughly 15k profit with Nvidia so my profile is around 50k. Now Robinhood gives me 46k in loan at 6.75 % which i have invested in Nvidia again. My interest is around 300 a month. Lets say i held onto Nvidia for about a year from now and paid 3600-4000 in interest but if Nvidia more than doubled,i would be in net profit of 100k+ . Again even if it crashes , i will buy more and hold onto lil longer and still make decent profit. I dont have any other loan of any kind. I don't even have car payments. I just don't see Nvidia Not going to 200+, be it in 6 months from now or 12 or even 18. I don't like the time limitation with options. With this loan its up to me . I can sell Nvidia at 150 and still make profit since my average cost is 100 a share.

Genius! Unlike you I am very stupid. I discovered early that in the last 10 years Jensen has been dumping million every year, and I kept on buying. The last largest dumping was Sep, 2023 at near to ATH $490. Unfortunately, I am now got stuck with 86,500 shares. 😪
