Күн бұрынThe Fat Controller announced that Thomas' branch line was to be upgraded for the Earl's special service to Ulfstead Castle. This made Thomas cross but the Fat Controller and Toby had told him of a pervious incident that happened when Toby first came to the Island.

Terrific episode! Especially with that continuing flashback between Thomas in Trouble and Dirty Objects, at the time when Toby first came to Sodor and Thomas being jealous of him before becoming firm friends. I find it funny when the constable looked sheepish even after the stationmaster showed the book about railway regulations. And also, during the conversation between Toby and the stationmaster, it reminded me of 'Percy & the Signal', as well as a foreshadowing to Down the Mine (with that quote "He tried his best to follow the rules. However, that wouldn't last long...").

I love how you were able to take something from the original episode/ within the book, or in this case: Thomas in Trouble (Thomas Breaks the Rules) and explore that question that gnaws at the back of our mind "Thomas is jealous how", turning that question into an episode and giving us that sweet relief we all needed. Now at 12:50, Im looking forward to your next episode and watch Thomas becoming cheeky once more by getting himself into trouble with Sir Topham Hatt as he "once again" breaks the rules and falls down into the mine.

Tyler Kane - The ending was more of a reference to ‘Down the Mine’ and ‘Paint Pots & Queens’ where Thomas ignored another warning sign and fell down the mine which resulted him loosing his branch line.

@@NWR1991 I can't wait to see what you do with that. I've always wondered what his punishment was after the mine incident. And why Gordon asked the Fat Controller, "May Thomas have his branch line again?" I have a few theories, but I want to see what you come up with.

Cheston The Diesel - I don’t really have plans to make such a story, I have about five years of stories written up right now. Perhaps in the future and people like Brendam Productions had done a story on that idea anyway.

Fantastic episode. Toby reminding Thomas of the time between Toby arriving and both of them becoming friends. I'm guessing we'll see something happening on the Earl's grand idea next year :) .

Nicholas Jones - This is set before my 2015 episode ‘The Ffarquhar Constable’.

Yeah, but that was known in one of NWR1991's previous episodes and I'm sure he told you which one. Also, let's consider this episode a prequel to that episode before anybody realized that the law Barnaby noted was outdated and revoked. So, yeah, it is revoked but I think nobody knew at that time that it was outdated for years.
