Did they change this in recent nx versions? Can't find the distance limits in NX 1899

Hello. How do you do limits in Expressions? I am modelling piston cylinders for a group project. For one of our cylinders, the stroke length is around 14.661 inches. They want me to do an inter-part expression that would limit its extension from 0 to 14.661. Our checker punched in 30 inches and the piston flew out of the cylinder. How do I solve this? Thank you.

Hi there! When i press on the assembly constrains button, and set the type to distance, I only two tabs; Geometry to Constrain and Settings. How do I get the Distance and Distance Limits tab? Thanks

The distance limits section only shows up after you have selected 2 objects to control distance with If you still do not see it, click the little gear icon in the top left hand corner of the constraints window. Make sure that it is set to Assembly Constraints (more), many times these advanced features are hidden. Another way to unlock more of NX's functionality by default is to go to the Roles tab on the far left of the NX window, under content choose Advanced.

hi bro, how can do this on NX10? It's doens't have the "Distance limits" option in "Distance constraint" :((

Are you sure that the (More) option is enabled in the constraint window? You might see it under settings.
