After a dominant performance against the Penguins the night before, the Rangers play a back-to-back at World's Most Famous Arena, but this time, against the Nashville Predators. Thinking this might be an emotional let down from the night before, it proved to be nothing like that. The Rangers scored six goals in the first period on six straight shots with those goals coming from Filip Chytil, Mika Zibanejad, Tyler Motte, Artemi Panarin, K'Andre Miller (2X) all within six minutes of each other. Chris Kreider would score the teams seventh goal in the second period off a rebound shot from Vincent Trocheck. K'Andre Miller became the first defenseman in Rangers history to get four points (two goals, two assists) in a single period. Jaroslav Halak made 22 saves for his first shutout in more than two years and is the second shutout in a row for the Rangers, after shutting out the Penguins the night before with Igor Shesterkin in net. This was a fun one to attend in person and a great ending to a solid weekend.
