There is a milliary barrack both in Nyali and Shanzu hence the restrictions in flying a drone.... some years back the Nyali military barrack was attacked and several attackers killed..BTW anyone who needs accommodation in Shanzu or Nyali hit me up

My neighbourhood bro. The army barracks is in the neighbourhood and that could explain the ban on flying drones. A real shame coz it makes such a difference....well done though for getting a video of this great district of mombasa 👍🏼

First to thank you for another lovely video, second Mombasa looks beautiful. My only quarrel with the place is the lack of markings on the roads and there didn't seem to be that many pedestrian walks.

Aki the authorities pia nao, yes agreed drone-flying can't be done in gazetted restricted areas but in other areas imagine Google Earth gives one some remarkable views of most places that some say should not have drones flying above.

Excuse me,Island is from Likoni stretching to Mtwapa and that perimeter.... Mainland Mombasa is from Kibarani to Jomvu...please don't confuse those two..

Nairobi literally has perfect temperate weather. One of the reasons it was chosen as capital. Not too hot like Mombasa, not too chilly like kericho

It's too hot sometimes. There are some hours of the day, from what I've noticed, esp after 11 am that the streets are emptier. Those neighborhoods are also not densely populated.

The main downtown/cbd area is the island. But the majority of Mombasa County is mainland (more than 90%)

The problem with Kenya is the poor are concentrated in one place and the rich have their own place. There is no intergration. U Will never find Odinga in kibera he only visits there during elections with his heavy bodyguards. The government only provide improvements to wealthy people areas
