Your videos alone are really making me want an 883 for my first bike.

Nice vids, good camera position, possibly the best on here, no silly music or inane chat,well done.
@RightThingMotos6 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I've been experimenting with different angles and even some random chit chat here and there. I promise though that I'll still post videos with no talking as well. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!

How do you get your exhaust to sound so good, I have an 883r amongst others but I can't get it to sound that good.
@RightThingMotos6 жыл бұрын
The exhaust sounds great to me as well but it is super loud. I'm basically running straight un-baffled shotgun pipes.

Harleykenn yea... sometimes simplicity is the best option, i was looking for a video like this, no review, no adds.... just hear the Iron roar
@RuffleCoptah6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for all your videos. Went on a binge hehe. Missing summer here from Scandinavia. Thanks for not playing music and or just talking. This is what riding is all about, just you and the bike. Love it. Thank you.

By the way, horrible roads you have in america, is it most like this or just new york?
@RightThingMotos6 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! The roads in New York City are definitely lacking but as a whole, America has some great roads. We have such a huge country that it varies wildly from place to place.

Subbed for more! Ahh I see. I would love to bring my bmw r1200gs overseas and take a couple of months in that vast continent.

This is my daily commute, that entrance on meeker is really rough in a truck I can only imagine on a motorcycle. Ill be experiencing it on a bike in less than a few weeks.

Sweet sounding ride! I love the flush mount blacked out gas cap. I will implement that mod on my Iron. Please tell us about other mods you have done to your Iron!

Right Motos I'm riding a kawasaki ninja 400, i had this bike for almost 3 years now, but I think Its time to bump up the cc and try a sportster.
@RightThingMotos6 жыл бұрын
That's awesome! I actually upgraded my 883 to a 1200 and love the extra power between the gears.

I have a hard enough time trying to ride through my little pop. 10,000 Georgia town. I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with your surroundings in NYC
@RightThingMotos6 жыл бұрын
Hahahaha! I'm sure you'd get used to it after awhile. I bet the riding down in Georgia is extra beautiful. I love that state! Thanks for watching!

Hey man I really enjoyed watching that vid ! What do you think of the 883 ? I really like the style of it, as well as its sound :) But does it feels like it has enough horsepower and torque on the road ?
@RightThingMotos4 жыл бұрын
I upgraded the bike to a 1200 and it really helps.

Was this the 2014 883 or which year? Thinking of getting the 883 as my first ever Motorcycle/Vehicle! Eyes are on the 2012 one for $6k ,2kmiles, like new.

It's a 2013. What did you end up getting?

Very good video, excellent, nothing of music or comments, only the noise of the machine. How have you done to isolate the wind noise? Greetings from Uruguay
@RightThingMotos5 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! I run my mic on the inside of my helmet and it blocks the wind.
@vincentburton74076 жыл бұрын
Is that the stock exhaust? And can you actually see out the mirrors? Seriously considering the 883
@RightThingMotos6 жыл бұрын
No, it's not the stock exhaust. I'm riding with Rough Craft's Iron Guerilla exhausts in this vid. I've since taken the baffles out and it sounds extra mean. With the stock mirrors it's tough to see much of anything with them flipped or in the regular position. I prefer side mounted mirrors myself. Good luck on your decision and thanks for watching!

This has to be on a Sunday...traffic this smooth on NYC gotta be. This Bike is probably the best bike to learn to ride in any traffic and in any byway or hiway. its just built for starters. I wonder whats the mpG and how often in a weeks usage..everyday do you have to stop at the pump? Damn i wanna bike..smh
@RightThingMotos3 жыл бұрын
This bike is the perfect beginners bike. I get around 100 miles highway before having to fill up and about 50-60 in the city.

I've been off Harley for about 20 years and I'd like to get a newer one to replace my 42 year old Suzuki I daily drive Actually lol.. should I buy one of these everyday and I ride almost year round here in Texas

Hey, sorry for the late reply! I love the Iron but the stock is lacking in power. The 1200 conversion makes it a lot better.
