Walking through an Epic Thunderstorm in NYC from the 36th Avenue Subway Station to the Astoria Boulevard Subway Station in Astoria, Queens. There was constant lightning, strong wind gusts, flash flooding, and gray skies.

I miss "old" NYC. Like it was under Mayor Lindsey. Some people used to complain about his administration back then. I say to them, look at "the city" now. You can't afford to enjoy the ammenities of the city or in my case even live their.

Maybe you could take us on a tour on tourist places...🗽🍕🍝🍰🎷 one day, for those who can't make it up there....would be nice, or show us the beautiful cathedrals💒 inside...or art museums...🏤 Or just what the neighborhoods🏡 look like...😄 I see you're taking alot of risks... makes me a little nervous for your safety, so take more caution and be careful...🙏 Maybe you can also scan the video 🎥from right to left so we could see the houses🏠🏩🏪 and buildings🏫 better. It's actually very common in NYC. As a NYC driver myself we are always extra cautious of pedestrians. I can not tell you how many times I'm backing my car up and people have walked behind as I am doing so. I

Thanks for braving the elements, AK. Loved the walk in the NY rain, wind, lightning and thunder, with headlights glaring off the wet streets. I guess you felt safer from the lightning 🌩 under the el rails.

Great video, love the sounds. Have you ever considered converting these into mp3's and selling them? They're great to listen to if people have trouble sleeping. A good option instead of the classic 'White Noise' sound.

Sorry if this is random but does anyone have any advice on where to live in NYC for a recent college grad? Absolute max for me is 2k a month and I prefer a somewhat quiet and safe area if possible. I'd likely be commuting into Manhattan but bc of Covid who knows...
