this is wild, i remember being a kid in the late 90s/real early 2000s and seeing the RD tag all over the city. inspired me to get into it. having moved out the city a while ago, i randomly thought about RD again and it’s crazy to finally put a face to the name decades later. amazing

Your a real one. Not just bragging about yourself like most writers (esp your era not so much mine) but giving others their flowers! Keep the videos coming man. They act as history lessons to the future generations and will live long beyond we will. Stay healthy brother.

Love seeing you speak so passionately about the writers that inspired you.T Kid is a graffiti master,so is Part TDS.Anso is all over the place, respect to TD ,RIP Mike.Remember I'm English and I can still see who are up a lot in NYC .Those roller writers like Texas,Gane,Distort make me feel like "What's the point,I am never going to make an impact like that,or do anything that catches people's attention like them" Love the vid Rob ,take care bruv.

Joz & Easy,TeKay, in the late 80’s to me where the first to have All City on lock. Gate after gate after gate. Facts mucho props to them. Sen4 & Veefer was more lower east side & village. Yes Sir love when you bring me back to good ol days. Keep on Rocking RD•357 Salute. Almost forgot I also would see easy tags out in Jersey City, & Newark NJ. Later on as well. Rip JOZ

Can you make a video about the hellsgate bridge? We made it up there the long way, not the door underneath the piller by the strip, we walked the tracks all the way from pathmark on northan Blvd, lol loved the urban explorer aspect of it you where tagging a lot of abandoned buildings.

Isn't that the best feeling tho when your younger and there's people around that either hold it down proper or just go next notch up or even the few times where you see some just brazen balls out shit lol... there were only like 2 in my city that aways stood out to me but I always remember thinking to my self how what was going on is actually odd if u think about it.. cuz someone u don't know.. you have no clue what he looks like or his age or if it's even a him or a her yet every time you see something that's that person basically throwing two fingers up to anyone and everyone and instantly your like hell yeah.. I'm sure normal people are really confused by this I mean imagine walking into a Walmart parking lot and seeing every tire on every vehicle just slit and flat just a huge slab of private property hit up just becuz lol.. you'd be hard pressed to find such disrespectful vandalism viewed in any kind of positive light what so ever.. but if you go so far out of your way that the city.. maybe the state and definitely a large percentage of building owners to view you as the Bain of there existence....if u wreck shop like that no doubt there will be 11 and 12 year Olds just itching telling each other just wait I bet we can roll like that if we really wanted to lol... Graff is one of those super rare things that really has no clear reason for really existing.. yet just it being there on any wall will automatically make more of it ... try and come up with any other thing that floats on that level.. it makes no one any money... people will pay money to get rid of it and they'll jail u and take your freedom possibly if caught and very rarely is it becuz it's some kinda vulgar or anti political thing...and since it's hardly ever anyone's real name it's like one giant decades old game of who can annoy people who pretend there important but not be so annoying they spend task force money to stop u lol

I’ve always been especially interested in Manhattan writers, I guess because it’s the CITY city. TDC destiny children came out of nowhere because they were from Long Island…but obviously made a big impression! Prior to the MUL Monopoly wholetrain in 2006 I think there was 3 maybe 4 wholetrains pulled. In recent times there have been dozens! There was also a DOUBLE SIDED wholetrain pulled which I believe was a first for NYC and I can’t believe people haven’t made a bigger deal about it.

I think there was a Doc in fab 5 Dirty slug .an OG I believe as well. I give Joust JD credit for starting alot of the throw up on the streets . Loved Mirage with them footprints in the mid 80s on highways . The shadow man stuff around downtown . I remember in the early 80s that Shadow man shit was called Muggers Corner because someone was actually standing in those lots and alley ways in all black where those shadow figures were and jumping out mugging women walking alone through the Greenwich village Chelsea area late at night . It was like a old wives tale that if you saw a new Shadow painted get across the street from that shit into a well lit area.. it was around the times as kids they were saying run if you see a white van because some sick bastards were pulling up and abducting little boys and throwing them into a white curtained out van . It was called the Smash van . Kids would scream Smash Van and we would all take off because these child molesters were abducting kids off the sidewalk.
