In the sixth episode of my NYC Guide series, I show you the best things to do in my current home neighborhood, Downtown Brooklyn. We visit the New York Transit Museum, White Noise Coffee, Cadman Plaza Park, Brooklyn Borough Hall, DeKalb Market Hall & City Point, & the Masstransiscope art piece!
Correction: I misspoke at 09:46. Brooklyn, of course, became a part of New York City in 1898, not 1998. 😅

Sheepshead Bay. Lot of tourists and history that come there but it's such an underrated neighborhood that does NOT get enough credit.

I'm not sure of all the neighborhoods you have not yet covered, but I'd like to see the rich Upper West and East Sides. Those neighborhoods are so quiet and beautiful! I'd also love to see you cover Harlem. I went there once and was fascinated to see Alexander Hamilton's home!

I’ve been to the downtown district of many cities and a large number of them are starting to look run down and depressing. Downtown Brooklyn is really nice and underrated, and I think will only continue to grow.

I love this video. I have lived in Brooklyn my whole life and I love all the content on your channel. I shared the video on all my social media pages. I would suggest for a future video either go to Coney Island or the Pier25 and Pier26 area in the Tribeca area along the Banks of the Hudson River

YAAAAASS!!! I love all of Downtown Brooklyn. Filmed a lot of the Movies and TV shows on location a lot in that area. The downtown area of Brooklyn is gorgeous. WOW. Went by so quick with your lease. Hopefully you and Ross will eventually find a new space right away. So much to do there. Slay as always Hannah!!!

It has changed a lot , with new office buildings, condos and places to enjoy! 👍 It can be a bit pricey, as you point out, but a person is able to enjoy a good quality of life 🍎🌸 I'll be looking forward to your next neighborhood visit!!! 🤗🥀

Hi Hannah Great video! You came across as being very confident when recording bits out and about. I knew you meant 1898. 😉 We had planned to visit the Transit museum in 2013 but didn't make it. Have to correct that next time. My husband asked if you can get an Ulster Fry at the DeKalb food hall. I don't think there would be the demand, even though they are immense. 😋😂 I love how much detail and planning that obviously goes into your neighbourhood guides. Keep up the good work. 😊

I mean, we live here and don't eat them that often. 😂 I'm sure everyone realises it was just a slip of the tongue, Hannah. Hannah Cool video. You made a mistake Brooklyn because apart of NYC in 1898 not 1998😂😂😂. Transit Museum great Museum. Because I like trains. Downtown Brooklyn is about 30 minutes from Sheepshead Bay via the Q train about 25 minutes via the B train.. 30 minutes via the F train from Avenue X in Gravesend.

Hi Hannah, I was just thinking, what about Governors Island. It's not really a neighborhood, I guess but I used to visit it when I would visit NYC over 6 years ago and found it too quite fascinating!
