One nice thing about winter is that people stay in their houses. Everything is peaceful and quiet. And it's beautiful. Especially at night when the snow sparkles like diamond dust.

Born and raised in Queens. Christmas in NYC has no rival around the world. Was there 1966-1987. Everywhere you went lights were on every house. Even in windows of people living in Project housing. Brings back memories. Thanks for sharing!.

I loved this! When I was a child 1960-72 everyone would decorate their home for Christmas and downtown would be decorated! This reminds me of days ago.

This is so beautiful seeing homes so festive and snow on foot. Thank you for sharing. This video brings back so many of my childhood memories in Beaver, Pennsylvania in the 70's. I would walk around the neighborhood at night through the snow while my feet crunched in the snow. It was so quiet and peaceful. I could hear the bells from the clock tower downtown. God bless.
