NYC Subway: R142A 6 Train Action in Manhattan & Grand Concourse (12/10/23)

7 ай бұрынDue to weekend work 6 train service ran in two sections:
1. 125 St to Pelham Bay Park
2. 149 St-Grand Concourse to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall
The Manhattan portion of the line had no access to/from Westchester Yard, so some trains were borrowed from Jerome Yard to keep full service running. Some of these cars were R142 and R142A type cars. The R142As have not run regularly on the 6 since 2017. Some Downtown trips were signed as a 6 Diamond for an unknown reason, but it was cool to see again on the R142As.

It says it was only running between Brooklyn Bridge and 149 street Grand concourse instead of Pelham Bay park and parkchester East 177 street.

They definitely need to Run the R142/As to Pelham Bay park and parkchester.
