I love seeing black woman unite and WIN! The Bible can be intimidating but one of the ways I love to read is I will pick a topic I want to focus on for a week and go into study reading all the scriptures that pertain to that particular subject. This is one way God speaks to me and sometimes it’s mind blowing the understanding you will get even though you’ve read a particular passage a million times. The word is REALLY living! I started one of the “read the Bible in a year”devotionals late last year because it was hard for me too. I use the Bible app but I try to read it from my actual Bible. It’s called ‘God’s Love Letter To You’ and I read it in the NLT Bible… when I say good. I’ve literally never been able to read the Bible but now I’m so intrigued!
