I used so many of your recommendations and tips and you helped me so much organizing all the trip. If this is what makes you happy keep pushing cause the web is full of NY videos but no one does it like you. Congrats! I worked 12 years from home for a mystery shopping editing company after 20 plus years as a journalist. Went back to a daily newspaper in January- Got bored at home. I was worried because I was not sure I could still be a reporter. After the first story/day- it all came back. Do not stress about a new job. You will have fun AND... you do have this channel as a backup! (:

I am now back from that trip and I honestly think if I hadn't seen your videos about different areas in Manhattan I would have missed so much. I went to the doughnut and bagel shops you recommended and even some of the bars. I am pleased to hear you are continuing with YT as since coming back from my trip I just want to return. I’ve been working from home for so long, I can’t imagine going back to an office, dressing up and commuting. Although in theory my hours are flexible I generally still end up working 9 to 5 Monday through Friday, or sometimes 7 to 3. I feel more productive that way. I like to keep my evenings and weekends free so I can hang out with friends with office jobs!

Then the company will reassess their manpower needs and eliminate the "new" position. If that happens to you, remember that it's not a reflection of your job performance, it has more to do with growing pains within the company and their poor forecasting skills. And general lack of commitment to their employees. Just keep your head up and know your own worth! Congrats again and I hope this company keeps you on until it's time to retire!
