Ahead of Netflix’s Shadow and Bone season 2, the stars of the fantasy series, Amita Suman (Inej Ghafa), Freddy Carter (Kaz Brekker), Kit Young (Jesper Fahey), and Ben Barnes (General Kirigan), alongside author Leigh Bardugo, took the Main Stage at NYCC '22 to talk about their roles in the series, karaoke and singing Disney songs on set (spoiler alert, his name was Herc!), reading the books, and even reenact behind the scenes moments for fans!

I just want to say that there was absolutely no way for Ben to mess up the book characters he’s been cast as. An entire fandom literally realized this and fancast him as the young Sirius Black.

At first I was like: why Dancing Queen from Abba when Money Money Money was just there. And then I realized the lyrics to that song (wishing to find a wealthy man or to win at casino and realized that that is a different crow :D )
