I agree Vito, it wasn't a too afraid to do anything fear but a 'not practical, there are too many of them and the cops would be swarming the street even if they pulled off Dirty Harry' kind of apprehension. If anything it’s a matter of being weary of being involved in the situation of trying to cap him and not wanting to be involved. Secondly, Roy had over 20 guys around him and many of them had bodies.. when Paul got indicted in 1984, the 20 plus guys that got indicted with him were all DeMeo crew guys … every single one of them.
