NEW YORK CLASSICAL PLAYERS
Founded in 2010, New York Classical Players (NYCP) is an ensemble dedicated to the highest standards of artistry, collaboration, and virtuosity. Fueled by the belief that access to musical excellence is an essential human right, NYCP presents all of its concerts free of charge. NYCP is comprised of dynamic young musicians who are launching their professional careers. Graduates of some of the world’s leading conservatories come together as NYCP to share free performances of familiar masterpieces, bold new commissions, and unexpected musical treasures with the public. Each season, thousands of NYCP concertgoers experience both the dynamic power of the orchestral repertoire and the versatile intimacy of chamber performance - without charge. NYCP is under the direction of Founder and Music Director Dongmin Kim, and a committed board of directors guides and supports the organization.

Beautiful. Janacek is one of my favorite composers. It's unfortunate that the Eastern European composers get short shrift in the U.S.

Leoš Janáček's oeuvre certainly gets quite a lot of attention in the UK nowadays; far more than he did when I first him as a teenager in the early 70s. In particular, his _The Cunning Little Vixen, Jenufa, Glagolitic Mass_ and _Sinfonietta_ are quite often performed. His chamber works, while less well known, do get an airing on classical radio stations.

I love this "small" rendition of this piece, which I've long loved. not throwin' shade, but didn't Bernard Hermann "borrow" some stuff for Hitchcock films .

I'm your fan, you are such a great group of artist. I love each and everyone of your stupedous performances. I'm a viola player myself (not a good one though). and play in a string chamber orchestra far away from New York. I'm trying to put in the light some of the best string pieces for chamber orchestra from the romantic era., copying the score and extracting the parts digitally, because in this part of the wolrd is very difficult to get the parts of rare repertoire, In order to give tribute to those composers that live in the shadows. So I would like to ask a request. woul it be possible to put in your repertoire 2 serenades. ONe from a wounderfull Polish composer Mieczyslaw Karlowicz, (passed away too soon) Serenade Op. 2 (C- mayor) (1897), and the 2nd. from an Austrian/American Composer. Victor Herbert, Serenade OP. 12 (F major)(1884). and Take your expertice as an example and try (after a lot of work and pacience), to emulate your excellent quality, and to share with our audiences this wonderfull pieces. for your talent and heavenly gifts, I thank you. P.S: sorry my spelling is not good enough, English is not my native Language
