Nyjah is so clean it takes away from how difficult the tricks he's doing. Not for me or for real skaters but just as an observer of physics.

What's crazy to me is every new stage of life I enter, Nijah is still skating. We're the same age. I've lived like 4 different lives and he's still just skating. 😂

It's absolutely stunning how easy it looks. Running and stepping on the board. Even the small things. Tried skating last summer and after a few weeks I realized that skating is no joke. Its crazy hard work

For perspective, Ive been a skateboarder for about 17 years. I have half cab flips on flat pretty consistent (and I’ve had that trick since I was about 16, I’m 24 now), but it definitely takes me a couple tries to land one clean sometimes. Nyjah pulls half cab flips off kickers like it’s an Ollie on flat. My guy is LITERALLY superhuman

Ginwoo is incredible in a park but I really don't see that kid lighting up the streets. He very much seems molded to contests and parks. Nyjah has probably been the dominant street skater the whole time he's been dominant in contests. That's one distinction I don't think anyone will take from Nyjah - best in the streets while best in the contests. And a big part of it is the sheer bag of tricks he has on lock is insane. One of the few who seems to bring new stuff each year. I see the next contest dominance coming from someone like that who skates a park 24/7 and never skates street. Nyjah learned in his dad's park too though. So I'm interested to see how Ginwoo progresses as he gets older, he's still too small to have that adult developed style. Strangely Nyjah had a fairly mature looking style when he was that little, the majority don't and I'm not saying it's a bad thing.

Haha, I’ll never forget being 13 years old telling my Dad I want to be a pro skater, we went out and got The element video that bam was in. This kid with dreadlocks just going absolutely crazy, my dad looks at me and goes yeah son stick with baseball. Hahaha. He’s still at it too insane.

Making something incredibly hard look effortless is the sign of a true genius at work. It’s like hearing Sinatra sing or watching Schumacher drive, the dedication and self sacrifice it takes to make something so incredibly difficult look so easy is off the scale. Yes I’m an old time skater and it took me a whole week to land my first kickflip so believe me what he is doing should not be underestimated, to compare his run to a video game is surely the highest accolade there is.

I hate to love this guy .. I’m a big fan of sloppy landings , hands touching the ground .. and then this guy comes along, squeaky clean and makes everything he does seem so effortless .. amazing skater. Wish money didn’t have such a hold on everything and this guy would be connected to more core companies .. but I wouldn’t drop the Nike paychecks either lol
