Saphira performed for Ru but nymphia performed for the whole audience

As soon as I saw those boba balloons in figured she got it.

the "scurry" was purposeful. It added levity to the "very serious" final battle that made everyone laugh. Nymphia was acting like she was performing at a drag show and collecting tips as she performed, etc. And I loved that about her performance. It grounded her performance and made it seem intimate and real.

Nymphia wasn’t playing for only the cameras. I think William forgets, sapphira was only focused on the one camera and rupaul, Nymphia was entertaining the entire audience and more. That’s what drag is about. She scurried for a reason. She wanted to perform for the ENTIRE audience and as you can see the audience loved it.

Nymphia scurried over to the other side to entertain the audience over there. It was so wholesome.

She grabbed a $20 alright. But with 4 zeros after the $20!

So. Sapphira stood in place in a heavy gown and waited too long for a lackluster reveal, while Nymphia was working hard to entertain and cartwheeling out of her look into one she could dance in…? How exactly did she win that lip sync, ma’am? Because she was “grand” and didn’t move around?

That was not even close. Sapphira’s reveal was just too late and not impactful, while Nymphia’s two reveals are both nice and impressive. So tell me how Sapphira was going to win that?

She mentioned that she new it was gonna be difficult to move or be in front of Sapphira so she decided to perform around her which worked

I think what makes it great in Nymphia's performance is she's just there to entertain the people. You can see how she communicate to the audience and the other queens, she did not mind the judges for a moment.

Maybe Willam should replace the sunglasses with some prescription eyewear.

Nymphia performed to the crowed which made them screamed for her and it added to the overall appeal. She got the judges first half then got the audience by the 2nd half of the performance. WIN

I don’t get that critique… Nymphia slayed that lip sync. She performed like she wanted it so badly. Her energy kept me drawn to her. IMO Nymphia was the clear winner of the lip sync.

Sapphira was corny. The vampire teeth. That crunchy orange ponytail. Those actually frantic high kicks. The reveal that was just the bottom of the outfit. I loved Nymphia and like the wind she blew across the stage.

I LOVE Sapphira, I thought she had it, but Nymphia's lip-sync KILLED it. It was the right result.

I specifically remember Sapphira had an amazing presence in that part of the lip sync but honestly by that point it was already a wrap and she’d been thoroughly outdone

Willam is heavely biased towards Sapphira sometimes. Yes, we all know she is good but she I don't think she was able to make the same impact as Nymphia did.

I think Nymphia was focusing on getting the audience to participate as she would for an actual lip sync where as Sapphira focused on camera/Rupaul

Sapphira was relying on her natural talents and charisma. She really thought she got this in the bag. And Nymphia just went for the kill. So the underdog story triomphes.

Okay but Nymphia pissed all over the stage and left no crumbs, she just enjoyed every moment I bet it felt amazing watching that live, like she went to every corners of that stage and got hyped up with the other queens and the audience

What I don't like about Willam is she plays favorites first of all, and she harps on one thing and doesn't even consider other possible interpretations of events and she doesn't let go. It's tiring and that's why I stop listening to Race Chasers.

Nymphia was not frantic, the scurry was meant for her to give attention to the audience from left to right which is a very cordial way despite the wide space and the limited beats of the music; whereas Sapphira stayed mostly in one space to lip-sync for Rupaul and the judges. Nymphia was lip-syncing for everyone. Not to mention you blatantly overlooked her boba reveal, her cartwheel reveal, handstand transition to split, and the timed split at the end to name the few. Smh.

I think they were delusional on this episode, they said Sasha Colby’s come back dress was better than violets, and then they say this, that they thought Sapphira was the winner and that it was a close lip sync. Are we watching the same show? 😂😂 just my opinion.

When I think back 2 Sapphira’s lip syncs on the show, I don’t feel like she was that good. Probably the best Jack-of-all-trades of the season but lip sync is somehow not the strongest. & within lipsync, she can do every type but not the best. I think this final lip sync needed more concept & preparation. She knew it was padam. She wanted 2 do a vampire theme. I think there needed more concept implementation. Batwings under her dress, reveal on “take of all my clothes,” her reveal dress as a red sapphire colour, blood pouch that drips from her mouth, a heart prop, wig reveal 2 bat ears. Anetra’s final bodysuit in her lip sync is more fitting 4 this than what Sapphira did. I’m fully fully open 4 a lip sync 2b interpreted in many weird ways, but Sapphira didn’t do enough 4 anything she could’ve done.

The real frantic one was Sapphira losing all the right timings for her reveals trying to catch up with the impact of Nymphia’s reveals. You can see her side eyeing Nymphia and panicking and revealing at the wrong timings to play catchup

The heavy gown made it really hard for Sapphira to perform, and everyone could see it. Nymphia is talented.

Wiliam is much better at repeating soundbites and tea from drag race than analyzing drag race.

Honestly I just think nymphia’s performance fit the vibe of the song better, which is why she won. (That and ofc she deserved to) saphira had a very creative take with the whole vampirism idea, and that the song is about hearing someone’s heartbeat, I think it’s a great idea! But in execution I don’t think it worked perfectly

I thought Saphira had it in the bag till this lip sync and homegirl was not prepared. Now I figured Nymphia was goin to win from seeing fan reaction online being way more popular than Saphira. Now I’m against giving it to whoever is popular just for that, but Nymphia won in the eleventh hour. Saphira seemed like she discounted Nymphias talents and figured she wouldn’t have to do the most to Chop her. What were the fangs about? Poorly planned! Nymphias reveals were cute but it wasn’t even about those. She just outperformed Saphira. Literally danced. Circles around her. Whenever someone looks over and realized they are getting eaten alive it’s always too late to catch up. Happened to Shea too.

we saw the performance through the camera. it is camera angle. However, as a drag performer in a bar, a drag queen needs to take care of each side of the audience on the stage. I paid attention a bit on both queens' interaction with the audiences. Nymphia not just stayed at her side of the stage. she also run to Sapphira's side to perform. On the other hand, most of time, Sapphira just stayed at her side of the stage or in the middle. So that is a big credit for Nymphia.

Honey stay mad your fav didn’t win but don’t be delusional. Saphira wearing those stupid fangs and waiting too long for that predictable and unoriginal reveal was not the serve you’re making it out to be. You can argue that she demolished the season, sure, but if you think she won that lip sync you’re kidding yourself.

You have to remember: Nymphia was NEVER in the bottom 2 and she NEVER lip synced for the win. So other than the choreography she was given in other lip synced challenges, we never got to see any of her tricks. So everything she did was refreshing and exciting because we didn’t know what she was capable of. Sapphira, on the other hand, was the COMPLETE opposite. We knew all of her tricks. While I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought she should’ve won based on the ENTIRE season, your eye went to Nymphia. I would’ve been happy either way.

Sorry but Nymphia has destroyed Sapphyra on that LipSync.

Philly all day every day but Ms Wind Ate and embodied that song and every emotion that comes with anticipation, desire and the heart beating en route to possibilities. Sap could have took that vampire ish theme if that's even what it was so far and created a dope as theme. That song was not meant to be Regal and grand.
