I pre judged this lady, I'm ashamed to say..... But this video has taught me not to do that. I initially felt some kind of envy, as I've never fully enjoyed sex...and I wish I could. When I was in my late teens, my father would accuse me of having sex and sometimes, if I stayed out late with friends, he waited up, hit me and accused me of being a prostitute. He had also said he would take me to the hospital and have me "medically examined." ... I'm guessing he was thinking that they would tell him whether I was still a virgin. He never did that, but...he did sow the seeds for me to feel terrible guilt when I did become sexually active. Of course I'm not suggesting at all that what happened to me compares to sexual abuse, but I do wish I could have enjoyed a healthy sex life. I am 57 now, single and stay that way because i don't feel I want sex at all.

@littleleafyleaf I got the impression that she does not allow her daughter to go to her mother’s house. She said “she can’t go over to her grandma’s house any time she wants” and I interpreted that to mean she doesn’t visit her grandmother there but that the grandmother comes to them instead. I have the feeling that this woman does protect her daughter. Probably the worst thing that’s happening is that she is possibly putting herself in harm’s way by allowing strangers to tie her up. I wouldn’t allow anyone to do that unless I knew them very very well and for a very long time. I feel sad for her. I hope she can heal from her trauma.

I saw her pain most when she talked about having lost her scholarship, her place on the swim team, she said her life was just over then, the life she had planned, what she thought was her good future. Think how it must have felt believing you were stepping into freedom from that family, you are on your way to a glorious positive new life and BAM the rug is pulled out from under you after you have already been through what she had been through....I know she is walking wounded, but THAT might have done ME in. I had trauma as a child, but not sexual trauma of any kind, some awful, but rare physical abuse, quite alot of psychological abuse and it led me to be a clinical.psychologist...I turned my wounds into my strengths and had a great career helping many many people...but as strong as I was determined to be, I dont think I could as readily overcome sexual abuse...it just breaks a person inside and takes so much MORE to heal...my heart goes out to her...SYbil Francis PhD clinical psychologist and professor

You are right on the money with that point! The mother is still with one of the sick men that abused her. I don’t get why? Why would you want to be with a man that destroys your children? Why do they lie to themselves? How can they even live with themselves? I feel like she should cut off her mother until she can get rid of him and admit that she was wrong. Hold on to your daughter’s love. In the end your babies are all that matter. They give you the most unconditional love. Sometimes it’s not always about a man. Sometimes the love of a child can make your life feel worth living for, worth fighting for what’s right.

I absolutely relate to this 100%. I have been sexually promiscuous my whole adult life, and I was a street prostitute from age 20 through 24. You see, when I was a little girl of only six, my dad started molesting me. He was also like a kind of pimp, passing me around to some of his male business associates. This continued until I turned 11 (interestingly, I started menstruating when i was 11.) Through on-and-off therapy through the years, I learned there's a connection between early childhood sexual abuse of a young girl and sexual promiscuity and prostitution. I've been raped, literally pimped out; I've contracted VD (gonorrhea and genital herpes, also known as HSV-2)), I've been beaten up by guys; I've been used. Throughout my whole life, I always thought I was to blame for all of this. My heart hurts.

I was a psychology major for the beginning of my undergrad studies. Once you get into the field, fellow students would talk or seek guidance (despite telling people you weren't qualified) from you. The sad part I realized early on is there is a tremendous amount of sexual abuse coming from adolescence. If I had to guess, I'd say 7/10 people I encountered experienced some form or another. It's disgusting and horrific. One of the main reasons why I changed majors because the sheer volume of those issues seemed overwhelming.

You are so right. I recently ran into an old high school teacher and it clicked why my dad used to drive an hour to visit this guy who he had nothing in common with. When I talked to other former students they all said the same thing, that this teacher was way too touchy feely and nobody ever said anything. He is far past retirement age and still teaching high school kids, Jeez I wonder why.... It's too bad that most of us have to be at least over 50 before we sort all this out, and most victims outright won't admit it.

My ex was a nympho as well to the point where it drove us apart. She would start a fight with me if I wasn't home at a certain time to meet her needs and would send me videos of her talking to other guys threatening me that they would hook up if I didn't hurry up. You could only imagine the damn feeling in my stomach when I saw these stupid videos and trying to keep a professional face at work. It was torture. Sex was amazing but not worth it. She ended up seeing a counselor over her problems after I caught her in a threesome with two of my "friends". That was over 8 years ago and I'm so glad I walked away from that.
