Two kinds of people. 1) Ew NY is dirty and the streets are full of garbage and its crowded, rude, too much $$$ etc. 2) Looks up and sees the Skyline and the lights and all their dreams within their reach. They are inspired and make it work. 🗽♥️ I pray every day to be there, I am coming closer! This video is breathtaking btw

Other cities in the world have skyscrapers. But no other cities have such good architecture as New York, where many of the skyscrapers are literally beautiful pieces of architecture.

Tbh none of those people who say they want to live there have ever actually lived there. I was born there, and while the city is beautiful. There has always been alot of crime in NY. My mother would tell me how some places you just don't go to alone at night. Not to mention the last time I visited family, it was just negative vibes everywhere I went. I live in Florida now, and people are alot nicer here. But you may have a different experience and thats ok.

When I was a kid I went to New York a lot, every Sunday for church. Sometimes even slept over. I got to see the full New York City, lights, lit up streets, people walking, it was beautiful. I think it was what led me to being more comfortable inside of a city than a suburban home. However, in Los Angeles, the skyline is ridiculously small for a city that huge

I've lived in many places and I've seen and experienced many exciting cities. For those of you who had a bad experience in NYC I am sorry for your experience troubles but there is a reason why New York City is a dream for so many people around the world. It's simply because it truly is the most awesome city in the world. Many cities strive to be like NYC but that only validates how awesome NYC is.

I love New York, but this place will never allow me to live as a true American... free. Although the vibe of the city presents itself that of a dream palace of all palaces, it has a feeling like you're trapped within giant walls and never have privacy or space to even think. If you're in the middle class, nothing is yours and only there sharing and temporarily taking up space. Nothing like having your own true home out in subs or the country.

I just love cities at night. The lights make it so dazzling! My sister would prefer to live in the country, same with my mum.
