More than 100 protesters were arrested for trespassing at Columbia University in New York while taking part in an ongoing pro-Palestinian demonstration. Among those arrested was the 21-year-old daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. NBC News’ Antonia Hylton reports on the latest developments from Columbia University.

The university likes the publicity. If you want to protest in a way they understand, transfer en masse to other schools. The loss of students who have been there for several years will be the worst because enrolling more freshmen will not fill out those classes.

No, not on private property. Not when you are setting up tents and camping on private property. They would have been allowed to protest if they were a certain amount of feet/meters away from private property. Free speech doesn’t mean a free for all, do whatever you want. Believe it or not, the law is actually way more nuanced than that.
