This is not about the university they graduated from. It shows that people take common things for granted. A CLO does not know the full mean of CLO because they did not bother to ask the full meaning. CLO became use to them that they don't even know CLO. What i learnt from this video is, don't take anything for granted. Little detail might be the game changer. Always ask questions.

@Jojo I'm sorry to burst your bubble but CLO actually stands for Community Liaison Officer. The "C" stands for "community" not "corper". Moreover, hardly will you ever see the word "corper" being used anywhere officially. Most times it is corp member you will see.

Sincerely, the first day I went to the nysc Secretariat to do my documentation, I kept on thinking about the meaning of CLO and judging from their work I was able to know the meaning that they are actually liaison officers without being told. This is because I love acronyms and abbreviations.

It’s really not important if they don’t know the meaning of CLO. Knowing the full meaning or not knowing it doesn’t show if they are intelligent or not. And it doesn’t signify also if they are fit for the labor market or not. The truth is they might not actually pay attention to it during service. I served in 2018 and sincerely I’m not sure if I would get the answer if I was asked the same cos all through my NYSC I was serving in a private firm and doing lot of courses to upgrade my skill set be fit for the industry and didn’t pay much attention to NYSC except CDS and Clearance day Infact during my PoP I didn’t spend up to 30 min at the PoP ground as I read overnight as I had a presentation in Unilag that same day. So imagine if someone like me was asked same question, I would actually miss it as I didn’t pay much attention to many NYSC stuffs. So please don’t blame them as they didn’t know the meaning Sir/Ma
