To be fair Where the Dead go to Die is awful, I like it because it's very unique and otherworldly. Jimmy Screamerclauz is a pretty cool dude in all honesty, he doesn't take himself or his films too seriously and knows they aren't very good. And his follow up, Wnen Black Birds Fly, is actually a cool little flick with more plot, better animation and it's more unique.

5 seconds in, I have a warning for gore and weird horror. 10 seconds in, we're focusing on serenading the cat with soft 80's rock hits. This video's already proving to be a good choice for 2 AM watching. Edit: Alright, after watching that I'm entertained and horrified! Some of these look legit interesting, and some go on the 'A Serbian Film' list of horrid movies that I'll just think about at 3 AM for no good reason than to scare myself. Also, if you're looking for more distressing films but up for animation: Felidae, a neo-noir about cats involving a ton of murder, a sex scene, and horrific genetic experiments, all in an art style just slightly reminiscent of Oliver And Company.

Another day, another wonderful list that May has blessed us extreme horror weirdos with. 🖤 Edit: I just finished seeing this and it was a delightful ride as always. Oh, and you're gonna have fun with Niku Daruma (Tumbling Doll of Flesh). If you're looking for suggestions (assuming they aren't on the list), here's some other titles I can think of in no real order: - Rot (1999) - Capturing the Friedmans (2003) - Cutting Moments (1997) - AGONi (2015) - Come and See (1985) - The Green Elephant (1999) - Tyler Hosley's "Steps" trilogy (2015-2016) - Cheap (2005) - The Act of Killing (2012) - Be My Cat: A Film for Anne (2015) - When Black Birds Fly (2015) - I Never Left the White Room (2000) - Nekro (1998) - Sweet Movie (1974) If I can think of more, I can add them or forward them to you on tumblr. I also highly recommend checking out the playlists that Tenafly Viper made if you look her up, since she has stuff pertaining to just about everything under the sun like shockumentaries and LGBTQ horror films that would be up your alley.

Ok so let me share a fun thing about Night And Fog. I'm French, and I have no idea if that's still the case today, but when I was in high school (something like 10-15 years ago) it was sort of a tradition in history classes to show that movie to students. Like not mandatory or anything, but pretty much everyone from my generation and older had to sit through this movie in class at least once when they were between 13 to 17yo. And if you didn't see it in class, you at least had it shown on TV at night at some point, with your parents forcing you to watch it and telling you they're doing it because it's important to learn about it. It traumatized a lot of people back then. I think that habit got lost with time though.

Damn, that sucks. I have considered watching it for the same reason though. I don't want to be ignorant.

I think you might have a tiny chance of maybe this video not being banned. Loved it and will watch your reviews of these movies many more times while it is alive. Keep up the great work!

I just ran across your channel, as a person who loves 'er some disturbing movies -- this is the second vid of yours I've seen and I gotta tell ya, I wasn't sure about you at first, but then while watching this one, i think I "get you" now. I guess you had to grow on me -- but you HAVE -- in a good way! You're hysterical! First I have to tell you -- about "trash humpers" and, yes, I'm familiar with Harmony Korine's movies, but having said that, when I lived in Minneapolis several years ago,, there was a guy in our neighborhood who used to walk around wearing nothing but speedos (not even flipflops). Every once in a while and he would go up to one of the parked cars and "hump" against it -- for maybe five minutes or so, then he'd move on. -- We called him The Bumper Humper. He literally humped bumpers! Cops were called a dozen times, they knew him, but he kept doing it. Also want to say that I've enjoyed disturbing films for a long time - big fan of Jodorovsky, plus avant-garde film, the Dadists, the Cubists, the Surrealists, plus Warhol. John Waters, etc. etc. But see I'm a boomer -- I'm pretty cool, I mean, I don't call the grandchildren before I go on vacation and tell them not to send me any email or it might "overload my machine." Don't laugh, my sister has done that... But here's the problem, NOBODY is interested in or wants to talk about disturbing movies and CERTAINLY not disturbing animation -- GASP! I LOVE animation from Bugs Bunny to Salad Fingers, but you think anybody in my demographic wants to talk about disturbing films? SO... just saying hi, you probably could care less, I guess I just wanted to say hi and say I'm a new fan and I'm sorry if I'm babble-texting, but there is a good possibility that I am wicked high.

I'm so happy that you covered trash humpers. I somehow convinced my mother to watch it with me and it did not go over well. She still gets mad if I sing the three little devils tune. I also made her watch the entirety of neon genesis evangelion just to see her reaction to end of evangelion and let's just say that I'm not allowed to choose on movie nights now.

Why did I know Trash Humpers was gonna make the list? I watched it because of Brows Held High, and regretted it, and will never forget it.

i remember watching where the dead go to die when i was like 14-15 and then forgetting if it was real or not for the longest time. i actually felt like i was going crazy bc i could not remember what the fuck it was called. we like to throw around the term "fever dream" for weird shit a lot but it really did feel like a half remembered fever dream,
