我们这次选择的房车类型是自主型房车 Self-Contained Campervan，就是车上有卫浴，有冰箱，有厨具锅燥，可以简单做饭的。
The type of campervan we chose this time was a Self-Contained Campervan, which means it has a bathroom, a fridge, a cooker and pots and pans for simple cooking.
我们看了下新西兰这边的房车品牌：Apollo, Britz, Mighty, Maui（据说是性价比最高的），Jucy(不推荐)。 我们选择了Britz(2 Berth)，另外还附加了两把露营椅子和露营桌。对了，房车一定要买保险。在取车前会有视频教学。
We looked at the brands of campervans available in New Zealand: Apollo, Britz, Mighty, Maui (said to be the best value for money) and Jucy (not recommended). We opted for Britz (2 Berth) with two additional camping chairs and a camping table. By the way, make sure you have insurance for the campervan. There will be a video instruction before you pick up the campervan.
每天晚上可以停靠在房车营地来处理厕所污水和生活废水，并且能储存干净的生活用水，给房车进行充电。大家可以下载CamperMate这个App来选择附近的房车营地。
The campervan can be parked at the powered site every night to dispose of toilet waste and domestic wastewater and store clean domestic water and recharge the caravan. You can download the CamperMate app to choose a powered site near you.

位于南坎特伯雷Burkes Pass的圣帕特里克教堂是新西兰现存最古老的联合教堂。它是在1871-1872年由当地的圣公会、长老会和天主教社区共同努力建造的。这座小的风化板建筑，由松树和扶壁来保护免受大风的侵袭，至今仍在正常使用。
St Patrick's at Burkes Pass, South Canterbury is the oldest surviving union church in New Zealand. It was built in 1871-1872 by the combined efforts of the local Anglican, Presbyterian and Catholic communities. This small weatherboard building, protected from gales by pines and buttresses, remains in regular use.
