Great video. I’m a house cleaner and in a year and a half I have purchased 4 different mops, having to change my way of mopping each house because of covid. I purchased 2 different spray mops, both duds. Micro fiber mops that has same concept as a swifter, dud. Then I got the o cedar, didn’t want too because of its bulkyness, but I too gotta say it’s a darn good mop system. It’s very nice that I can switch out the mop heads per house. So I second your review on this mop. Happy mopping!!!

I’m glad you pointed out the issue with the sprayer - I do not want to deal with that and thankfully can avoid that mop.

About the first mop. I have a similar mop working with the same concept. When inserting the bottle push it in until you hear /feel a click indicating that the bottle locked in and engaged. This is especially important with the first use. Reading instructions sometimes saves time. I have mine for months now using it almost daily and it works like charm. The best mop for quick mopping. As far as the O-Cedar and similar mops, yes it sounds interesting and tempting. BUT, and is a big BUT, you have to think that you are actually deeping the mop in dirty water ( the dirty water from spinning ends up and mixes with the clean water) every time you need to Re-wet the mop (several times for a room). As things are you actually end up mopping a room with dirty water!!! This idea of the spinning mop would be almost ok if there were two champers in the bucket . One for the clean water to re-wet the mop as needed and one for spinning the dirty water. Of course that probably add to the time and effort because. 1) Starting, you have to wet the mop in the clean water chamber 2) spin the mop in the 2nd chamber because you don't want your mop to be too wet 3) mop the floor 4) it's now time to re-wet the mop. You spin the mop in the dirty water chamber to get rid of dirt 5) Then, you have to wet the mop again using the clean water chamber 6) since you don't want your mop excessively wet you have to spin it again 7) now you can continue mopping the rest of the room until it's time to re-wet the mop,repeating the procedure as necessary. Hmmmmmm...

You had a defective rubbermaid spray mop. My first one arrived broken. I got a second one and I love it. I use it daily. My o-cedar I like as well but not convenient for daily using in a small house limited on space.

We liked the O-Cedar also but not very long after using it the spin pedal freezes up or wears out,but we have tried different brands of spin mops and I have come to the conclusion out of all of them so far that the Clorox spin mop has given us the longest service and to add the biggest failure of the spin mops again for O-Cedar is the foot spin mechanism rusting or the gears just wear out and the spin mops with the spin mechanism built into the handle is that after a while of using the mop the mechanism ends up striping out,as far as the buckets and spin baskets all of them outlasted the other parts.

The bottle needs to click in the mop to spray better. I had a Rubbermaid and the sprayer stoped working. I have a an o cedar sprayer one that works well. I'm wondering now though if Im really just pushing the dirt around since you don't rinse the pad as you go, just spray more solution

I bought a spray mop the trigger one and a little plastic piece of rubber came out of the mop witch ment it would not spray and the bottle leaked all over my floor

You’re not pushing the bottle in all the was. You have to push it firmly until it clicks in. But yes, it’s a weak spray.

It doesn't roll and you are mopping with dirty water. Both are important for me. Also, your video could be edited a lot more to cut out mistakes, etc.

I had the first mop with the hand trigger. The sprayer eventually clogged with cleaner gunk despite how much I flushed it with clean water after use.

I had the reveal mop and the same thing happened! So i figured it was a fluke and bought another amd it did it again! All i could figure was the seal had a leak or something. I want to try the o cedar spin!

Is the spray mop a real Rubbermaid Reveal Mop or a knock off? I have had several of the Reveal mops with great success. I do like them for quick mops. You are supposed to wet the top of the squirt bottle before you attach it. Maybe try that, and see if it helps. The oCedar mop is great!

I saw a previous comment but idk if they were thorough with their question or if you understood them correctly but- When the mop is spinning, does the handle spin with it too? Like when your hand is holding it while it's spinning, is it spinning in your hand? The reason I ask is because the mopnado has an unlock/lock feature that you "activate"/unlock when you want to spin it... So therefore only the base/mop spins while the handle stays put while you hold it. And when you're ready to mop, you lock it.

I love my O-Cedar mop! I’ve had it for almost 4 years, I think. No issues whatsoever and I’m rough with it! Lol
