this was my first aria:D

Hi, I am here just to let you know that your instrumental saved me........ I am enrolled in a college as a music major but my private training as not yet began. Because of Covid the initial plan was that I would be allowed until next semester to sing before a jury, so I felt happy until I got a sudden news that I have to upload a video of me singing this Italian piece without any help. The idea was, my professor would help me with the diction since I am an English speaker and HE would send me a recording for me to sing with.. To my surprise I was notified 1 day before the performance that my song should be uploaded to the school system through an app. Now imagine my shock since I had was given the song 3 days prior to learn and was never told how long a time I would have to prepare for the presentation. I searched the night before like wow to find a sound track and i found a few but I didn't like them and I found it hard to follow them too based on their tempo. The next morning of the performance I scrolled through utube again and when i found your video I couldn't stop giving God thanks The thing is seeing you play allowed me to follow your body language to keep timing. This is what i really needed.. to physically see someone playing and moving their body to the rhythm. I have poor hearing sometimes and my laptop volume could not turn up loud enough to hear, which was also a problem i found with some other videos. So that is my back story, the deadline was at 5pm to send the video and i was able to practice and send it in at 4:50 pm after deleting many recorded ones trying to improve and making the best possible one to send. Very good performance, beautiful phrasing, flying vocal sound, the voice and the piano equally professional. Great, I wish I could do like that. When I play and sing I play much better than sing. :(
