After a long shift at the hospital, I discovered this sweet song and sat listening and crying with my own dog. Pure, simple emotion .... C'est trop bien.

translated the lyrics with my rudimentary understanding of french by combining my fluency in English with my nativity in Spanish and fell totally in love ... with it all. The lyrics, the arrangement, the chachachá rhythm, the superb meldic decorations and soloing... It has such closeness to a bolero I just played it too many times. Such a longing, romantic plea. And yes, its a cute song. Thanks for this!

Yes, the rule is "simple": each sign has to be preceded by a space if it is formed by two elements: exclamation and question marks, colons and semicolons, for example. Simple signs are not preceded by a space: points, commas, etc. Double sign ==> two spaces :) You're welcome ;)

Yes, the accent aigu is used in French but only on the é, it is NOT used on the ú. As Jean-Frederic said, the word is "où" NOT "oú". The ú is found in Spanish, Czech, Faroese, Hungarian, Icelandic, and Slovak.

Like the song. Would it be so much trouble to make the French right? It's right when you listen to it, but the transcription is full of mistakes, mostly missing or incorrect accents. Also entier for entière; important for importent.

Almost positive you are hearing the guiro, a latin percussion instrument played by scraping stick(s) over the ridged cylinder. Timothy usually plays that.
