Not so much a serious model railroad but a place to display and run your favorite collection of engine nothing wrong with that. I look down to some of those scenes and I think my God he must have $20,000 worth of locomotive and that's just around the Roundhouse nevermind what's on the walls. Good to see people enjoying their Hobby I've enjoyed it for over 60 years.

Nice Railroad update of operations

It is a $200 locomotive with $500 worth of electronics in it. And of course add another $100 for the Lionel name on The Box.

Great review of your progress, Chris. Very nice scenery changes and track updates. Really looking good. Thanks for the train run...Great to see the CP loco heading that freight consist. Their freight line right in front of my house in Hamilton, ON. Actually, it's down in a gully, so I can't see the trains passing by, but I can hear them day and night as they go up the Chedoke yard. That flexible hobby knife blade is the most fascinating thing of I've seen! It's actually sharp in both senses. Thanks for this, Chris.

That's a really nice layout. You have done, and are doing, a lot of good work on it. Model train layouts are like the real world in that things just keep changing.

Really enjoy the way you put those towns together. Love the change for the diesel shed as well. Looking forward to seeing that area all finished up.

I like the work you have done in this layout update. I really like the Ho Bo boxcar seen. I think the abandoned siding is a neat idea for something like this.

When I lived in Jamaica in Queens I took the train down to Brooklyn to trainland in Brooklyn. I was talking with this old guy about train and how I got teased about playing with train and he told me to tell them that trains were for tough guys too and if needed he would come down to the school and kick all their asses. When I got home my mom saw the bag and said she's more train crap. And I told her well mr. Sinatra says and she goes Sinatra Frank Sinatra? Did you get his autograph? I go no why is he somebody famous? To me he was just another train guy. When my dad who was a chauffeur picked up Johnny Cash at Kennedy Airport he mentions how I like his train songs. They stopped at a record store and he picked out an album with a steam locomotive on the cover he picked out an album with a steam locomotive on the cover Auntie autographed it and they stop at the house so I could get it. That's how I met Johnny Cash and when we move to Florida my mom through the record away with all of the children's records. God damn mothers and them throwing things away.

And to think for the whole of the 1970s and 80s all you could get was pretty much MPC Lionel. All the train magazines talked about the impending death of three Rail trains eventually who would have thought that companies like Mike's train house would Breathe new life into an old Hobby plus the other companies to like Bob Weaver I give them credit especially Bob who made American-made Holgate trains in America by Americans who don't make $2 an hour like they do in China and they were cheaper then stop by by Mike's train house or Lionel

Where did you say you ordered your Lionel neon sign from? I found a bunch of sellers on ebay, one being directly from China, all looking exactly the same.

Cab-forward looks weird with that stripe on it. What is Lionel smoking? All of these weird-ass paint schemes on top-dollar locomotive? And what gets me is that the weirdest one that people don't like and don't buy slippers buy them out and once they are out of stock they sell them for twice as much as what they paid for them. I just don't get it. I could afford a $2,000 locomotive but I would rather have 20 Williams $100 locomotives instead. Nice reliable simple and easy to maintain. You take a twenty-year-old Lionel engine out of the box and it has to go right to the shop. You buy a twenty-year-old Williams engine brand new in the box and it just runs. So does a weaver locomotive as well.

What is the name of those locomotive signs?
