With the upcoming 100th Anniversary of the Driving of the Golden Spike, Ross Roland took it upon himself and his High Iron Company to create a steam excursion like never before~! With a striking silver, blue, and gold paint scheme, the train was not only impressive, but pleasing to the eye. Many trains pulled the Golden Spike Centennial Limited, but today we focus on Nickel Plate Road 759 and Union Pacific 844 as the train is handed over from one steam foundation to another. Lots of rare footage and plenty of train action, we hope you enjoy the show~!!

This was extremely insightful Johnny, wish I could have been there but was too young. The engines you ran are awesome. You are correct, it seemed as if they could be talking, LOL. Excellent video, as always. Keep it up buddy!

I like the light weathering job you did to 759. Well done on the video! Looks like you need to add people to the passenger cars. Just a tip for you, amazon sells a 50 pack of seated O scale people that fit perfectly in passenger cars for $12. Much cheaper than lionel. Plus those MTH cars are easy to install people and convert to LEDs if you want to. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the tip~! The weathering job was done by my friend Angel and he really did an amazing job~! I do plan to get LEDs for future and yes I’ll for sure look for those passenger figures~!

@@Audamus, cool! Happy to help. I got my LED strips from a guy who sold them at the wheaton train show in illinois. He also included the resistors as well to go along with the lights. Really wish they would start those back up because i need more resistors and LEDs to convert my lionel 18” passenger cars.

@@Audamus, same. I’m literally 10 minutes north of the fairgrounds. I’d like to find more UP excursion cars to get that train up to a solid 30 cars. Currently it’s at 27.
