Жыл бұрынAt my open day this year a local professional photographer and railway enthusiast came along and took many fantastic shots. So this time my video consists mainly of his stills in a slideshow with a few videos clips at the end.
As you will see and hear, the weather was not the best. But I'm reminded that grass can be green. In fact it was a full two months after my open day before I was to cut the grass again.

Nice runs! Has anyone ever put something like the controls for radio-controlled model airplanes into those locomotives, so you don't have to burn your fingers controlling them?

Actually a couple of the engines in this video have working mechanical governors!! Yes you can fit radio controls. But then where the track is level and the curves open, there is no need to touch the regulator once in motion. And there is an immediacy of controlling your loco as a full size footplate control would. You pays your money and you take your choice.
