Another great show by The Killer and Kenny, what a great team, Jerry Lee was blacklisted around 1958, had lost 2 children in the 70s, had 2 wives die in 1983 alone, had Elvis' Dr Nick as his doctor, he's survived all that and was still playing up to 2019, Hollywood couldn't make up a story as unbelievable as Jerry Lee, He is The last man standing.

@@bradhuskers dude.. you dont get it, everyone agrees that Elvis will always be considered the King, and for many reasons, rightfully so. But if you were to break it down, nuts and bolts, the general consensus is Chuck. Im thinking those that are actually musicians, especially those from the early classic rock era and beyond, the vast majority will say and have said, the true King, is Berry. Chuck wrote all his songs, that were hits. Elvis may have sat down at a table and wrote, but nothing that could go to being a song hit. Chuck played the guitar. Elvis strummed it, and it was a prop, not part of his thing. And, the guitar is THE RnR instrument. And the list goes on. Even Elvis HIMSELF said Chuck was the true King... Dont get so butt hurt... Elvis is the man, but Chuck basically was saying, here is the Template for what Rock is. Take it, and follow it.. tweak it a bit if you must, but this is what RnR is.... And just do a google search, of all the musicians whove said Chuck is the main guy. Geez, even Lennon said if you were to call RnR another name youd call it Chuck Berry... what more do you need Calm down

@@chuckfan1 No YOU don't get it. The term the "king" has absolutely nothing to do with writing. It has EVERYTHING to do with who left behind the most critically acclaimed recordings. Period. The musicians themselves have said that elvis's recordings are REVELATORY and essential. Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald didn't write their own songs either, but they like elvis, turned those words into critically acclaimed masterpieces. Funny. If chuck was as great as you say, how's it possible that he lived decades longer than elvis YET still couldn't reach his critically acclaimed diverse recordings? Imagine? Chuck lives decades longer and failed miserably to reach elvis's success. Racism? No. Plenty of artists were of different races and achieved great success. After elvis got out of the army in 1960, rather than rest on his massive success, he proceeded to branch out into different genres of music with MORE CRITICAL ACCLAIM. That's called soul depth and diversity. The critics give accolades to great recordings. And elvis presley never stopped. Only death ended his artistry. As for chuck berry? After the 50's, he had every opportunity to pass elvis in gold records and sales and critically acclaimed recordings, BUT FAILED because ultimately, he didn't have the artistry that elvis presley had. After elvis died, chuck chose to videotape young girls in public restrooms. The guy gets to live to 90 years of age, and society allowed all artists regardless of their race or gender, to be as successful as their talent would allow them to be. Berry was an absolute ZERO. A JOKE. We know that when the decade of the 1950's ended, elvis presley recorded more critically acclaimed classics in multiple genres of music. THAT'S pure artistry. Ella Fitzgerald and frank Sinatra did exactly the same. These were real artists who never stopped. Chuck became a one trick pony. In 1966, elvis presley recorded "tomorrow is a long time" and Bob Dylan said he was deeply humbled when elvis's soul and artistry took his words to a much higher level than he could. As for Berry? He like little richard were happy being "one trick pony" types. You sound very uneducated. You parrot 🦜 what others say with no original thoughts of your own. I've studied this subject longer than you've been alive and the reason I brought up frank Sinatra, Ray charles, Ella Fitzgerald, etc....was to educate you on artistry. Elton John explained that the most difficult thing in music is to interpret the words of another writer into critically acclaimed masterpieces. Ella, frank, Ray, elvis, etc....ALL did just that. NUMEROUS TIMES. Critics have universally acclaimed recordings by these iconic ARTISTS. You've got a lot to learn.
@bradhuskers
@bradhuskers 2 жыл бұрын
@@chuckfan1 I always laugh at myopic fan boys who think chuck and little richard are above the king. Both those one trick pony types lived DECADES longer than elvis YET failed miserably at reaching the massive success he achieved. And I love when low IQ types blame this on racism. LMFAO LMFAO Both richard and berry lived decades longer than elvis. Artists of every race and gender achieved great success. Yet these two remained one trick pony types. Richard became a flamboyant tinkerbell and chuck videotaped young girls in public restrooms. If they had the talent and artistry you brag so much about, both these losers would've continued making critically acclaimed recordings like the king. But they instead wasted decades wallowing in perversion.
@bradhuskers
@bradhuskers 2 жыл бұрын
@@chuckfan1 Looks like you really are detached from reality. After the 50's came to a close, elvis gets out of the army and continues to garner massive critical acclaim in multiple genres of music. Like frank Sinatra, Ray charles, Ella Fitzgerald, etc. etc...etc.... these iconic ARTISTS turned words of other writers into critically acclaimed masterpieces time and time again. Chuck berry and little richard stayed the same. They dabbled in perversion instead of surpassing the true king. And it's because neither of them had the soul, depth and diversity of elvis presley. You lack critical thinking and origin thoughts to understand that. You just regurgitate the BS you are fed daily.
