Being jealous about money is only one facet of being jealous. O’Malley’s star is on the rise, Conor’s is tarnished by years of bad decisions at this point. O’Malley is young, Conor looks years older than he actually is. I’d rather be in Sean O’Malley’s position than McGregor’s.

AJ you need to chill with the McGregor comparisons :D O‘Malley might have a few fans in the US, but outside of the US he’s not popular at all. Meanwhile even my 70y old parents in the middle of Europe could tell you who McGregor is. I would argue McGregor is even more famous than the UFC itself, the name is probably even familiar to people from somewhere in Asia and Africa who don’t watch Western sports.

Connor challenges everybody who wins anything. He challenged the winning horse at the Kentucky Derby to a foot race. That said, the people saying Connor can’t be jealous because he makes so much money, clearly don’t understand jealousy and probably don’t understand people or life. The fact is there are some successful people who don’t want to see others succeed. It’s threatening to them. I think it’s just a more animalistic side of human nature. He’s the top chimp. And the top chimp doesn’t want others to be at the top with him. He wants the other chimps bowing to him.
