Silent hill makes me feel something no other games have. The loneliness and silence. I’m not a people person, I hate going out sometimes, but to go out and walk through silent hill while hearing this.. I need that.

Yeah, that's what I love about creepypastas, as you read or listen to them alone in your own bedroom, you think and imagine what those scenes or things would look like in your head, only for you to feel that fear, and then snap out of it....and nothing happens, just pure silence....Personally, I love this stuff just for my favorite instrument of all time, Pianos. And to be honest, I love ambiance as well, the idea of being alone and isolated in a location where only you are and no one else is there, as you walk through very silent locations, and go from there.

o.O Friendly reminder that if you ever end up in Silent Hill, something went horribly wrong in your life. It's not a liminal space adventure, it's a liminal space nightmare. It's lonely because it's waiting, slithering after you as a predator in the shadows, until it's time to strike. I say this as someone who understands where you're coming from, but let's not woobify Silent Hill. It's a demon laying in wait.

Didn't expect Vaporwave Silent Hill to be something I needed in my life Edit: Ok i've just finished listening to all of it, my god you did a wonderful work, Vaporwave made the OST incredibly better, some tracks like Angela's Hell got 10 times more emotional and anxious tracks got even more creepy. Truly a wonderful job, I'll definetly come back and listen to this again when i'll feel like it. Truly an amazing job

I certainly wouldn't say it made it "better", just different. Yamaoka's work is really perfection. This adds a "kookier/whimsical" vibe that is absent in the original songs, and probably for a reason. They are meant to impart bittersweet despair and loss of hope

It had the same effect on me too: I had never played it, but the music transmits strong emotions. Now, recently I was able to play it on PC thanks to a PS2 emulator, if you can I recommend you do the same, you can't deprive yourself from playing SH2.

I've never played silent hill. I don't know what the story is, or why it's so sad and has all these people on their knees begging for mercy. But I like the music, I wonder what kind of game it is, and what kind of game was to these people here. I wish you all the best in your journey, or if you're looking for something, that you find it. Be patient, it will come to you. Edit : Its been two years, still haven't played the game but I definitely plan to one day. I swear its all I see these days though, I live in a small town nearing lots of big forests, my streets are always covered in fog, all I think about is Silent hill.

@@F0gGrlDream depends, there is a point if the high is too strong most of the times you can no longer focus on the music, and you know it is too much when you start feeling some really strong chills and at the same time feel reaaaaal good but your eyelids cannot be open. Try to find the best strain for you, when you just begun smoking the best is to by the cheapet one available because it is the weakest and you can know your limit

@@sebastiantafoya3609 have you ever tried any psychedelics? Weed is nothing compared to truffles/shrooms or lsd. Once you try that you have no desire to ever touch weed or alcohol, because the high just sucks and its not healthy for your brain. At least that was my experience, I recommend giving it a try with music you really love, it's magical.

I remember renting this from blockbuster forever ago. I remember getting stuck in the apartments at the beginning of the game to the point I put it down till it was time to return it. I ended up renting it again and spent all night trying to figure out what to do. I don't remember what it was but it was some simple puzzle. Hard puzzles were no problem but I always got stumped on the easy ones due to overthinking, I've gotten better about that though. My solution now is to just have my 8 year old try to figure it out if I run into puzzles on games anymore, good for his brain.

silent hill is indeed a comfort game,movie and place for me. i know that may sounds pretty odd but it really is.the music,the story,just everything about silent hill is amazing.
