JoJo ... did you guys realize the moment when Kavvish walked pass Abdul Hannan? The lady with rose is so accurately put in. Old age made you realize things which Abdul Hannan was searching for. The rose is a metaphor of wisdom or advise so that young man can understand things ... and as soon as he walked to her the path lit up... indicating that as wise people enter our lives their advise can light up the path.... in the end ... he is also humming in the same tune Kavish sung. So, the gift from old lady worked. Whoever conceptualize the video deserve special applause.

@roomi2222 And, if I may add to your reading. When Kaavish walks by Hannan that's a "Y" sort of intersection leading them in separate streets. Hannan ends up in the one with the dead end, deliberately darker, his "sitting down" could mean being bogged down. On the other hand, Kaavish's street was full of movement and activity, and his street also had other music players. These two streets could signify two different thought streams that we experience within ourselves or two different emotions we go through. And if I connect your old lady and flower observation, then it makes me realize we need such positive gestures or words that remind of us Kaavish's street. And, those words could come from within or from outside. Hope is a practical tool that could enable us to humm our way out like Hannan did.

If 2 out of 10 people giving you negative comments you shouldn't be giving them this much attention. The people who care and love your reactions and discussions will wait and watch your videos even if you put them out after 2 Years. Just ignore those negative people. This is the only channel where actual discussion happens, where we learn more about the music or the music video we're watching. Keep it going. More power.

I hardly ever comnt on videos but i m writing now to show love and support. Both of you have taught something that i didnt knew existed . Song were just a form of entertainment for me. You like them or u dont. But for me you guys took me on a journey where i for the first time saw song as an art. Where u can sit interpret and connect with it. I nvr thought i would ever listen to desi hiphop but thanks to both of u, took me on a journey where i can appreciate and even love these genre of music that i would have never listen to by myself. And thanks to u guys every song stirs emotions in me because through ur videos i have gradually learnt how to listen and interpret songs to where u let your feelings takeover and consume you. Thats the reason why i sometime wait more for ur videos then the song itself to see if i missed any corner or a part of song that i couldnt understand. So thank u so much for letting us see ur emotions on every video. And i know its not easy to do that in fromt of camera and for the world to see that. Thanks alot A fan.

Jyoti and Shruti, I'm much, much older than you guys. Firstly, my 2 cents on the abuse. It's absolutely unacceptable for someone to attack another person's religion. This is a music channel and has nothing to do with politics. This is the negative thing about social media, a lot of immature kids going from channel to channel, passing sarcastic remarks, and generally being negative. Why would you do that? Here you have people who're promoting Pakistani music, for free. Why would you attack them? Utterly ridiculous. Plz. ignore them. Both of you are beautiful souls and we love and respect you for your promotion of our music. Okay, enough of that. As for the music, O' Yaara is this season's Mehram monent. Just as soul-stirring, and infuriatingly, just as short. Desi songs, especially this beautiful, are not supposed to be this short. Xulfi is purposely torturing us. The BTS is really good, as well. BTW, Hannan is the one who recommended Jaffar for the song. And the old lady is the same lady who was holding the cat in 2 a.m. I won't reveal any more secrets. I apologize for the long message. Again, love and respect for the both of you.

This song just tore me apart as I relate to this song 1000%. My life currently is on a ditto similar pattern to what Abdul Hannan sang in this song. But as "SOMEBODY" famously said time and time again "YOU ONLY LOSE WHEN YOU GIVE UP" so every second of my life I am telling this to myself. That same "SOMEBODY" also said many times that "LIFE DOESN'T GO IN A STRAIGHT LINE, IT PASSES THROUGH ZIG ZAGS OF GOOD AND BAD TIMES" so I am just hanging on and braving the testing times in the hope and belief that good times are just around the corner, and I think this has a lot to do with the faith also regardless of the religion you belong to when you feel so helpless that you're unable to find the way no matter how much you've tried to sort your life out, then you look towards the sky and plea and cry in front of the DEVINE for help and mercy. Coke Studio Pakistan has surely found the formula of bringing out people's feelings and emotions, which is just unbelievable. By the way, the guy in the construction hat was fixing the lights where the old lady was sitting. As always, lovely, lovely reaction from both of you. VIEWS KA TENSION NAHI LENAY KA BOSS, HUM HAIN NA! 😉🙃 Take care, and see you guys in the next one, cheers!!!

Thank you for your reactions. I always look forward to your videos. They are not only genuine and objective but are based on an understanding of the music produced in Pakistan and India. So one can easily resonate with what is being said and that connection. P.S. The old lady selling flowers in a dimly lit area at the start portrays a power outage (we have loads of it). There's a technician repairing wires and as Hannan approaches her the lights suddenly turn on causing her to smile with relief. That was quite beautiful.

JOJO... Urdu Writings on two stores... One was KAHANI GHAR (the book store) and the other one was WIRSA (mean Heritage, I guess it was a souvenir shop). The other unanswered question was for me the GORGEOUS OLD LADY... For me she is like a Motherly Figure... Whenever we go to depressed dark alley, the motherly figure will always greet us with her smiling eyes. Despite their presence, we opt to sit in those dark dead. ends.

unfortunately, it has become a part of our culture that we don't respect others' boundaries, limitations, opinions, and convenience. U don't need to bother about such people who come up with weird criticism. At the same time, not everyone thinks in the same manner. I learned a lot from u. U r literally an inspiration. I learned to observe things from a different angle which i never had before. U hold all the right to feel proud of ur religion, nationality, and roots. Lots of love and respect for u and BEST WISHES. My english might not be v gud, i hope i was able to put my thots into words.

Dear Jojo….please know that you (and Shrutz) are for ever appreciated for your unique reactions; not only are they detailed and thorough, they also reflect your knowledge and passion for music, your honesty and your love for the arts. You’re a sensitive soul and we love you for that! Please just keep doing what you do - your analysis of each song brings so much more to us than meets the eye! Take your time and upload these reactions when you’re ready - the wait is always worth it!! In any case, religion and national identities are totally personal attributes that we are all proud of. Thank you for always uniting us all through this forum and with our common love for music! ❤️ I was impressed by Abdul Hannan’s vocals here more than in any of his previous songs - but then when you’re working with Xulfi, he polishes the diamond in you! And what can I say about Jaffer that you haven’t mentioned before. Loved what you said about his second O Yara - a ‘warm hug’ is just what it felt like 🤗 Just to let you know that his late mother was one of my favorite Pakistani female singers - Nayyara Noor. She too would sing with her eyes closed (as Jaffer did here) - totally focused on her vocals and completely immersed in the experience. Although she’s missed dearly, we’re incredibly lucky that she’s left behind her brilliant legacy in the form of Jaffer Zaidi. ❤️ Sending you warm (O Yara) hugs, love, and loads of appreciation. Live long and prosper. Love you 🥰

Hey Jo, just a reminder that there's good and bad everywhere. Although it's natural to focus on the negative because it tends to leave a stronger impact on our brains and emotions, the positive almost always outweighs the negative. I don't usually leave comments, but I wanted you to know that many of us truly appreciate your content, commentary and effort. Don't let a few miserable folks bring you down. Filter out the noise and keep doing what you love, whenever you want. Your community will always enjoy your videos, regardless of when you upload them. Hey JoJo and Shrutti, You both are doing a commendable job. The "feel" you add to all these songs makes them 1000x better. Let me tell you, as you mentioned earlier in an undertone, what is going on there and how it affects you: consider it noise. I would suggest installing a veil between yourself and the noise; let it come but do not become prey to it. Ahhhh, the song is beautiful, I should say, and beautiful is the superlative degree for me. It’s about life, patience, friendship, and searching for meaning and purpose. I used to teach philosophy, so I can connect more deeply. The first part is depressing, and the person is looking for a way out, searching for answers and a way to understand what happened to them, why it happened, and how they can adapt to the poison in the surroundings. The second part, Kaavish, is soothing. It's like stitching a knife wound inflicted by someone you never expected to hurt you, and then the healing comes again from a place or person you didn't expect. It's my opinion, and hats off to you for doing justice to the songs and appreciating the work of all the artists. Who does that in a world so busy and selfish? Just to write this comment, I had to take time out from my work routine. Believe me, I’ve only watched your reaction up to 21 minutes and will watch the rest tonight. Please keep doing this; it means a lot to many people. Filter the noise and live like Maghro La. Take care, both of you.

Well done ....plz keep up the good work. Shruti said that this song sounded completely different from the previous four songs and is kind of a smooth/easy listening...the reason I think is that this song is from RH era where music was more pure, simple and impactful. Gumby on drums and presence of Kaavish kind of hints at it. Plus it's quite nostalgic and a sort of tribute to 90's music as well as to RH's coke studio. Additionally, I think the minimum or nonexistent electronic music in this particular song also stood out.

Relatability is such a critical emotion - its that one ingredient that acts as a binding, pulling force. Just like I relate to this song (both to Hannan as a younger man and now with Jaffar as a more “seasoned” one with battle scars to show)- i relate strongly to Jyoti’s emotional responses - which is what draws me back to her channel over and over. Your detailed synopsis of technicalities and nuances and musicality are just the cherry on top because again, I relate to it as an audiophile and having the patience and respect to appreciate every little artistic detail.

I've been following CS's social media ever since the teaser for O Yaara came out. Many people were guessing that Kaavish would be featured in the song eventhough it was Abdul Hannan humming in the teaser. Isn't that almost magical? One thing this song has proven is the immense popularity of Kaavish. People have been flooding CS's KZfaq with comments expressing their love for the band and wanting to see more of them. As someone who discovered Kaavish relatively recently, I had no idea they were this popular, I'd assumed they were an underated gem. It's been so heart warming to see such love and appreciation coming their way. More than for any other artist in any of the songs released so far. Jaffer barely sang for a minute in this song and look how happy that made so many people, including myself. Amazing.

Hey Jo! Your reviews/reaction are the reason people connect to the songs. The wait for your reaction after every sunday evening when the song drops creates a sense of excitement and happiness in my miserable life nowadays. When the magical journey drops I start thinking that now Jo and Shruti will start recording so the reaction will be uploaded after one day. Then on that expected day the first thing I do when I wake up is check KZfaq and seeing that the reaction has been uploaded creates such a satisfying feeling. Never stop doing this even if it takes you weeks to upload a video. Your true viewers will never stop watching your videos and will wait patiently. Alot of love and respect. I've been refreshing the search feed multiple times a day to see whether this video had been uploaded. This is not out of a sense of entitlement but a genuine sense of camaraderie: a feeling that we have gone on a journey through music together over the past couple of years. Debrief zaroori hai 😄 It's like when you're calling a friend to ask, "What did you think??!" and they're not answering the phone 😂 However, while I might call that friend a few choice names when she finally does call back, that is not a line to be crossed here. Everyone needs to understand that there are boundaries. The reason why we get a high-quality review from these two women is because they're not regular reactors. Their activities and exposure make them uniquely able to crank out a review that we listen to, love, and learn from in a way that 99% of other reactors simply cannot replicate. Respect that. Suffer while you wait, yes, but don't be disrespectful! 😂 While it does feel a little bit like the review will miss the boat, it's ALWAYS worth it in the end, and that's why we're here in the first place ❤

This is the tragedy of these two countries k ek dusre ki national aur religious identities ko target kia jata hai sooner or later. Personally i don't even consider your channel a reaction channel anymore. For me this has become my go to place to get genuine, real reviews and insights on CS like from anywhere, be it online or on TV. Regarding your reactions and reviews, I have not found any channel at KZfaq so far that matches the level that you have created and I think even those criticising you for late postings are the ones who cannot wait for your video drops but you are right they should also know that you have your personal life too. Patience is key here. They should also know that the excitement is more at your side than at theirs. I wish they understand this! Hopefully they will learn and behave respectfully in future. Stay Happy, stay positive and stay STRONG, You got this. We your extended family are always with you. ❤❤ Sending you a truck full of positivity from Sindh, Pakistan. Your admirer, today and always. Suhail

Long time CS listener/watcher since season 1 and still going strong. I think it was the Universe that conspires with the youtube algorythim to recommend your reaction videos. Ignored it first but give in in the end and now i'm hooked. Your reaction to "Mehram" and "Phir Milenge" was heart touching, watched it multiple times. You ladies observed even the tinyiest details in the video. Your post reacation analysis is always superb and emotional. As someone in the CS said "Light is also music", girls your words and scentences are music to me/us. Sometimes it is impossible to explain lyrics/words/sentences in words as these can only be translated in raw human emotions. Keep up the good work and dont worry about trolls. Now about this song, for me it looks like its a "Shikwa" and then "jJwab-e-Shikwa". A person is heavy hearted and started to loose hope because of the hardship on this world and complains about it. The other person is giving him hope, dont loose it buddy. Its like: Singer 1: "Bro, im tired of this world, its painful" Singer 2: "Shutup bro, just suck it up. You will be fine" :)

Hi Jyoti, while I don’t know the exact comments that triggered you to speak out at the start of this video. I can make an educated guess. I know it must have taken a lot of courage for you to say it publicly. I wanted to appreciate that courage. For context I am a Pakistani Muslim man. Not that it matters but I wanted to identify myself for context. Lastly, I really love all your reaction videos and I hope these triggers don’t keep you away from your passion. Stay happy and stay healthy Peace!

Thank you for your efforts ❤ I hope this brings a positive hum to your step just like the end of this song 💜

People usually get depressed cause they expect a lot from this world and the people around them, the part that Jaffer sang tells to look into yourself instead, there are secrets, answers to your question and peace within yourself. Meet yourself and you will start understanding things around you, and they wont hurt as much as they do now while living in the unknown situation with yourself.

Am so glad you addressed all the petty comments and trolls that were bothering you . We all love your in depth analysis of coke studio and wait for your review the moment a new CS video comes out just as we wait for the BTS …❤ so yes I totally get the impatient fans ♥️ As for YAARA …👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 The moment Jaffer started it went straight to the heart and for the first time I felt Nayyara Noor ( his mom ) vibe in his voice who was my ultimate favourite ❤❤❤❤❤ Xulfi has nailed it yet again 👌🏼👌🏼♥️🧿🙏🏻 Thank you for reviewing this 🫶🏼

I only discovered in the BTS of this song that Jaffer is the son of Legendary Nayyara Noor. What a great singer with such a soul-soothing sweet voice she was and Jaffer is justifying being her son with his singing too.

let the haters hate but I / We personally apricate your reviews and reactions and look forward to them. When i first heard this song early Sunday, i knew i liked it but I was not in the right head space and couldn't connect to it but I cleared my head and give it another try today about 20 mins ago ;-) and loved every min of it whole heartedly and connected to the soul of messages. AND right after that I looked for YOUR reactions and bam saw that it was updated 16 mins ago so perfect timing ladies. Keep moving forward and don't pay mind or get hung up on the negative comments .

Jyoti & Shruti, your musical sensibility is truly remarkable, and experiencing your reactions and reviews is akin to attending a festival for the senses. The depth with which you comprehend and articulate your observations sets you apart from anyone else. Your videos have a magical ability to reignite our love for songs we already love, making us appreciate them all over again. There's an almost mystical connection between Xulfi's master-strokes and your perceptions, as if an invisible bridge exists between the creator and the interpreter. Don't let critiques overshadow the completeness and brilliance of your reactions; they are simply extraordinary. Keep sharing your insights and spreading the joy of music far and wide.
