Episode 213 - Part 2 Oak bedside table with a drawer - gluing panels, milling and cutting the sides for joints
I choose unused friezes from previous projects and cut them in half on the fb610 band saw.
I arrange them with a color and wood pattern and stick them together in a steblo pneumatic press with less pressure. The effect turned out as it should. After taking it out of the press, I plan on an ad741 thicknesser to a thickness of 5mm. On the saw, I place the cutting disc about 1 cm high and cut grooves in the sides of the body for the back panel of the bedside table. I cut the board to size on a k690s saw. I change the blade to 28 teeth and cut the lumber into friezes for drawers. Of course, I align the material on a felder planer. The previously jammed sides of the body are milled with the df500 festool milling machine for domino pins. Before sanding and assembling the whole, I screw the drawer runners in so that the holes for the screws are drilled. I grind the side elements from the inside with a triton grinder.
