Mototec (Velocifero) Mad 48v 1600w electric scooter upgrades list:
48v 25ah 50a bms Lithium Battery
Gusty 150mm F&R adjustable coil suspensions
Kunray kit:
48V 2000W motor (5200rpm)
45amp controller (soft start)
full twist throttle
3 speeds switch
( this kit has lag in throttle response at slow speed ,and all lights and horn need to rewiring)
Stock sprocket hill climbing setting (top speed 35mph): motor 11T, wheel 70T, tires 14.5 inches
11/27/2020 update : Finally replaced the soft start to hard start controller , highly recommend buy the hard start controller , no more slow speed lag problem.

a.co/d/e8N19Fj If you want to make all the lights and horn like stock , it's very hard to do , because the connectors are higo mini B . If you don't need lights and horn , it's easy. Battery is 48v 25ah 50A

What is the maximum speed it gives?! I'm currently accelerating to 37km/h maximum. I want to drive a maximum of 50 km/h. Another question, where did you order the battery and charger? Thanks

@@sergionibrue3115 Top speed is 35mph , mostly I ride around 30mph feel comfortable. I got my battery from eBay , this kit needs 50A BMS battery

I have two of them .. three years old …. Only problem is the air comes out of the tires every year I fix that by putting tubes inside them and I have a few other modifications that I will be doing…. Excellent job

Tengo el mismo motor y el patin es casi igual que el tuyo,el mio es el imr evo ultra ya venia con motor 2000w, le cambie el controlador por uno de 50a y bateria 48v 25ah 50ah bms, con el controlador este pilla 61km/h llano cuesta abajo se nota mucho con el de serie

I have 48v 1600w brushless scooter motor in my scooter, stock 48v 12ah 20v LI batt and crap no name controller What is the main component that powers this motor and can push it to the limit, is it the controller or the battery? I was thinking to go with 48v 1500w controller and 48v 20ah 50v LI battery (1800w) max What controller and battery combo will push this motor to the max? I was even thinking of going 60v overall TY

I bought the mototech mars 2500w. Can I change the kph to mph? and It's in level two, and no way to change it. It goes 30+mph though.

In mode 3 you can get around 25 miles and top 35 mph, mode 2 should get 30 miles top 28 mph.

I'm not a professional electrician ,so I didn't plan to make a modifications video. The battery swapped was done a year ago and just a easy job, but I took whole day to do rewiring , another day to installing the kit.

Stock lead acid battery weight 36lbs vs 15lbs , lithium battery can deliver efficient performance at power as low as 20% , the size smaller and more range. My new 45A controller is huge can't fit in stock battery.

I watched the video well. I am going to upgrade by purchasing a 2000w motor and controller. Do you have to install the switch 1.2.3 (throlt) as well? Do I just need to replace the motor and controller from the basics?

My upgrade kit needs to install the switch , without the switch you can't get the full power , some people just bypass the wires but I'm not sure . Sometimes I need to turn down the power at busy area, so I suggest you install the switch.

I would suggest you buy the hard start controller instead of slow start controller , huge difference.

@@oak320 Thanks for the reply. I'm tuning while preparing one by one. It's helpful a lot Did you tune the pinion gear and sprocket gear after 2000w tuning? The default is pinion 11t, sprocket 70t, chain 25h, but after tuning, pinion 14t sprocket 64t chain t8f. I want to get tuning information from you.

They stole your money bro. the best is a DUALTRON X 2 it goes up to 60 mph and around 80 miles per charge and that's without adjusting the bike to go faster.

The kit in default is a soft start mean lag throttle. You must connect the 2 white wires together to get hard start. Your battery only capable of deliver about 30A continue. Do you want to go faster? get a battery that is capable of deliver 60A continue will get you over 41mph. I got the same kit and total weight of 300bls. Top out 41mph. My controller doesn't have hard start function, the seller said I have to buy another hard start controller and my battery is 50A continuous 150A peak , because my tires size is 14.5 off-road tires so it seems less power than yours. I tried different sprocket can get higher top speed but not enough torque for San Francisco hilly road. Thank you for your comment , you got a nice go kart!

I have the same kind of engine, only mine is 60V. The controller is 45A. I'll put a 42ah battery. My rear sprocket will be 44 teeth and my front sprocket 15 teeth. How fast do you think my scooter should reach?The two wires you mentioned in the previous comments are the two white wires that say "hard boot"?

@@milutinmilutinovic4393 With 60v battery , you can try different front sprocket (cheaper) , bigger front sprocket get higher top speed . I think it should be get 40+ mph , depend on you want more torque or higher top speed.

@@elrizo911 Of course, if you concerned the price and satisfied the stock 15 miles range and barely hit 27 mph when fully charged, just leave it as is. Actually the battery alone costs almost $500 ,not included the kit and suspensions. If I can start over I would do 72v 3000w upgrade ,but I still love this performance.

@@oak320 is not exactly the price but the value, or what I am getting for the money. I think there are other products designed out of the box with those specs without the extra work. It's just more money up front, but at the end cheaper.
