Oakham Under-15 centre Tyrese Johnson-Fisher produced a spectacular display of finishing, scoring four tries to take his side to their first NatWest Schools Cup Under-15 final in 10 years.
I think he's messed up a bit here. Playing juco in America with no chance of pro career. He really should have thrown himself into rugby to bring his skills up.

@pingu99514 жыл бұрын
AMD I’m sorry, are you saying that I wouldn’t call a massive kid... a massive kid if he was white? What kind of desperate attempt to call me racist is this? The race plays no part, in schoolboy we always (as did the opposition) would pass it to the biggest guy on our team more often than necessary as he was more difficult to tackle. We didn’t ignore him if he was white and say, ‘oh no, because you’re white you’re not very big’ Racism is a big problem and it’s disgusting. So point out actual racism, not some guy on the internet making a comment nothing to do with race. Don’t pretend to be a white knight, whilst being a keyboard warrior.
@CrookPANDA4 жыл бұрын
It’s literally what I am saying, all I am seeing is mad hate on some kid who happens to be bigger than the rest of his age group.. I see plenty of videos the same of massive Aussie/NZ kids who dominate and smash kids in their age group.. and just praise and ass licking.. I believe not just your comment but many on here just hating cos he’s a big black kid dominating a his age group And sorry these little snowflakes are soft, in London we had diverse opponents, some teams was all black kids.. massive guys with speed - I see people putting tackles in no matter what. If you scared to tackle someone bigger than you, rugby isn’t the sport for you. Good luck if you want to play at university and beyond.. James Haskell type guys pounding you 😂 Imagine having to complain about someone’s size on the opposite team, shambles.
@pingu99514 жыл бұрын
AMD Jovially commenting on the fact a guy is massive does not make someone a racist, I would make the same comment if he was white, asian or blue ffs. If you choose to view someone in that light, then that’s your personal take. I was merely joking about the fact that in school rugby, it is a common occurrence that people often pass to the bigger kid cause some kids are scared to tackle the guy who is a foot taller than them and double their weight. I don’t wanna make this a dick measuring competition of of, ‘oh I tackled a 6’6’ guy when I was 7.’ But I’m from London, I played Rugby throughout school and for me the fun came from getting stuck in and tackling someone (or trying to) no matter their size. Don’t immediately call someone a racist snowflake because they attempt to make a comedic comment, that sort of discourse prevents real discussion and is often a result of someone misinterpreting a comment :)

@@silversolver7809 Lool this sentiment is sooo old and out dated I used to see these type of comments in the comment section of sports mags when I was younger. They said the same exact things about the emerging talent in the American NFL & NBA basketball. The end result was more pace, more size, more power and even more outrageous never seen before skills. Just a little prescience for you, when the new outrageous skills appear the word magic will be used by those that don't understand what they are seeing. After a while that new upgrade in skill will be taught by the coaches who eventually catch up with the Magic and it will just be come the new Norm ( think Brazilian football and curling free kicks back in the day as an example of the Magic that is now the Norm)

@@whytespacing Sure thing Sol. But I was referring to a different topic, the age-old phenomenon which the OP mentioned, ie "Seen this so many times before". The player himself acknowledges he'd never have made it in rugby, since it's such a multi-skilled and complex game. Best of luck to him in NFL or athletics, he's got attributes which should suit those.

All these comments hating on a kid. What does that say about you? Hating on him because he's a very young talent who is still growing and learning his craft, and you're just sat posting on KZfaq hating that you've wasted your chances to be somebody. GREEN EYED MONSTERS indeed. Instead of trying to drag a kid down for what you see as imperfections (like any of you were perfect at his age), go do something a decent person would do. @mackemforever4 жыл бұрын
It'll be modern astroturf.most likely a 3G pitch. Much better than the old astroturf but still less nice to play on than actual grass. While they're better than they used to be it's still a surface that will give you friction burns quite easily and isn't particularly pleasant to go to ground on. There are newer surfaces that are much nicer to play on and much more like an actual grass pitch but 3G is the latest version that is certified by Rugby England for official games.
