So if you ask me, birds of a feather flock together (criminals, race, ideals, etc) and that leads me to believe that all three of them are working against the common people and good, because they're feeling that it's racist a murderer or violent African Americans are incarcerated and the public is DEMANDING actions against crime no matter the race. But to these three, it's more important to keep crime rampant while they're in office to serve as payback for the imprisonment of criminals who, no surprise here, are representative of their own culture and race. It's a sick thing very similar to Clarence Thomas whos sole goal in SCOTUS was to deny any and every civil right to all because of the non-racist non-civil rights issues he faced (none, he lived a very wealthy privileged life) yet because of the ethnic background of having melanin more than others, he wants to punish collectively all of America for punishment America puts on African Americans who legit engage in criminal behavior. Essentially the goal is to destroy the nation from the inside so no one can ever enjoy it, because of what happened hundreds of years ago that hasn't affected a single person alive or dead for 200 years!!!

Not sure the statistics on kids in Oakland with both parents working and showing them right from wrong, or how many have parents in prisons or murdered. You are absolutely right parents need to take responsibility instead of blaming everyone else but themselves. Some folks really should not procreate! I grew up in East Oakland and went to the ghetto schools. Never did I blame society nor did I expect free handouts. Started working as soon as I turned 16, and worked to put myself through graduate school. Until everyone takes responsibility for their own actions or be held accountable for committing crimes, the situation in Oakland will not improve.

Most of these immigrants are from countries that the U.S. damaged in the 20th century, so United Fruit could exploit them. There could be foreign aid to have companies build factories in central America, as they chase cheap labor and pivot away from China. Oakland has some real problems and you and I would agree that the political class needs to change before things get better but tell me. Do you really feel better by just making snide comments.
