This is from December 1999. Some random warm up gig in Detroit, only played a handful of songs (Cigarettes & Alcohol, Supersonic, Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, Helter Skelter). I like Liam's voice throughout the 2000s, but it's mad the difference between here and the June 2000 Wembley gig. I love his vocals in the latter concert, but in this Detroit gig it sounds like it could easily be from 1996 / 1997. Lots of rest I suppose.

I know it's too late to reply, but I complete agree with you, in fact, I'm the kind of Oasis fan that pays a lot of attention to Liam's voice throughout his many gig, tours and years, and It's good to find someone else that also points out the big difference between 1999 and 2000 (specifically, Wembly) but also say that both 1999 and 2000 are great

@@aquenwisey even if you compare this to jools holland(first 2000 gig) there is a huge difference. Both times his voice should've had plenty of rest and sounded the exact same, but it doesn't. What happened in that short time frame

@@masonmennell8514 totally agree with you, mate. What the hell did Liam do to mess up his voice so fast? Jools Holland was good, but 1999 tour was way too good to be so close to 2000. Maybe Liam didn't take care of his voice, smoking and doing drugs during that little time lapse of December 1999 to February 2000. Needless to say that Liam's voice gave up at the second gif of the Japan tour, (but Liam made it up in Nagoya rainbow hall and Yokohama second night, Liam's voice during Yokohama second night was GODLIKE, it sounded almost like 1996, it's like listening to gas panic! from 1996. In my opinion, Yokohama second night was the gig where Liam's voice was at his best during the SOTSOG tour (there are also some very good gigs like Leganés may 14th but there's only who feels love and Mexico city may 11th but the only tapes available don't have good quality, but again, his voice at those last two gigs was also GODLIKE.)
