Another newly unearthed demo from circa 1992 or 1993. A very early version of Be Here Now era b-side "My Sister Lover" with Liam on lead vocal.

That happened to two other Oasis songs as well, All Around The World which ended up being released 5 years later, and Comin' On Strong, which also ended up being released 5 years later as Setting Sun from the Chemical Brothers. There's probably a ton of Oasis songs we've never heard before. Some just never ended up getting officially released, like the songs written by Liam and Bonehead, which Noel actually liked a few and wanted to release, but Liam and Bonehead didn't.

+RedYellow Blue : of course is better... it took to Noel around 23 years to take the song and finally give it a proper treatment... in the middle, he just wrote a bunch of classics and great tunes... the album version of the song benefits from the experience Noel has now... but, that being said, is just incredible that he wrote this song so long ago... maybe it wouldn´t as good as it is now if they use it as a B-Side or for an album on their first period... plus that, at the time their recordings (I mean official stuff) sounded awfull.... so, is a good thing this song was released now...

Just heard about bro singing this one for the DM '24 anniversary tour; had to look it up. I much prefer this version over HFB any day. What were they thinking? My best guess at LYRICS since I can't find anything official! A feeling sleeping deep inside You hide it so I’ll never find Today I think I’ll waste your time You never notice, you are blind The dream I have can never be I photograph what the eye can’t see I fight to live another day I’d like to find it another way Lock all the doors! Maybe they’ll never find us I could be sure like never before this time Get down on the floor! Turn all the lights off inside I could be sure like never before this time You know it’s mine This time It’s mine A feeling sleeping deep inside You hide it so I’ll never find Today I think I’ll waste your time You never notice, you are blind Lock all the doors! Turn all the lights off inside I could be sure, like never before, this time You know it's mine You know it's mine She never hears me when I speak I gotta find out where that magic sleeps And I can feel you underneath my skin Ready for take-off, warm inside 'Cause I don't wanna sail on the ocean wide 'Cause we might never live to meet again Lock all the doors Maybe they'll never find us I could be sure, like never before, this time Get on the floor! Noel's new album has a song which he says he wrote in about '92 and never finished, but gave a bit of it to the Chemical Brothers. We know that song was Comin' On Strong, which became Setting Sun, but it's this song's title that appears on Chasing Yesterday. So is his memory dodgy or is the new song going to include bits of Comin' On Strong AND this version of Lock All The Doors? Either way, I like the idea that the new album revisits his past, ties up loose ends and leaves him free to move on (see also Revolution Song, apparently left off Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants because Blur released Tender and he didn't want people to think he got the gospel idea from them). Anyway, I'm pretty excited about the album. Do the Damage is great.
