25 years since the original release, November 3rd will see the release of limited-edition collector’s formats to celebrate the silver anniversary of Oasis’ iconic album ‘The Masterplan’. Formats available include CD, cream cassette and limited-edition double vinyl formats (heavyweight silver, green and black marble and black LPs). The new formats feature remastered audio, taken from the ‘Chasing The Sun’ reissues - available for the first time as one collection.

I bought every Oasis single on CD as the b-sides were so good. As a collection of b-sides this made a really cool 'album' to listen to as it saved swapping over the CD's to listen to them all in one place!

OMG! It was 25 years ago! 1998 was the one of the best years in my life. And "Masterplan" was the beautiful soundtrack of those crazy days. Thank you, Noel! Thank you, Liam! "Oasis" forever!

I'm American, and remember blasting this whole album over and over when I was 15, walking around alone at night, thinking of as much as I knew about life around that age. Special place in my heart for all their albums, but this one is in a different category for me. The American part isn't important, I just bring it up because I had no one to listen to it with me, no one here understands just how important Oasis is and always will be to me❤

For an album that wasn't even a proper album, it really is incredible how genuinely brilliant The Masterplan is. It's also the perfect showcase of what Oasis were really all about, with a great blend of tracks from throughout their classic era that show off everything from their heaviest punk rockers to their most beautiful acoustic ballads. Biblical stuff!

Whenever I hear some ignoramus say something silly, such as “Oasis were a one hit wonder” or “They weren’t any good”, I mention this particular group of songs as proof to the contrary. If it were the only damn thing they’d ever released as a group, this collection alone would have them firmly included in the Top 20 bands of the 90’s. It is truly that good, track after track after track it almost plays as a greatest hits collection. Noel was pumping out instant classics with killer hooks like he was taking a morning walk with the dog, and Liam’s angelic voice was on display for all to hear, full of raw power in all it’s magnificent glory. A dynamic duo, indeed. “All part of The Masterplan”….

I got even more MfI when I bought the record in Paris then listened to it. Oasis wasnt the thing anymore then in France therefore I looked quite old fashioned listening to that. But I never gave a sh.. This album was my dope then. Just liked every single tunes.

Can you start releasing the vinyls with the original booklets and artwork inside, i bought the def may/mg reissues and was disappointed with the cheap inlays and lack of booklet, think its a bit of a con for the price with no extra tracks for something most people have already paid for previously.

The Masterplan is easily as good as their first three albums, it should have had all the b sides to make it even better

Yeah that's the only thing that. There are so many other b sides which were not put on the masterplan. They should of done a Vol2 of the masterplan for people who didn't have all the singles. Esp now as they are hard to come by.
