I like the idea of a Paladin who isn't afraid of dipping their toes into the dark side but not fully diving in.

Leonin and Aasimar both have a fear condition in there kits to help with the fear mechanic. Like a minor divinity

I had a similar idea for a winter eladrin elf for the teleport that can fear. Guess we both wanted a little extra mobility haha. 2-3 levels of the undead warlock sprinkled in with conquest paladin. Absolutely love this dracolich vibe you came up with. A truly terifying build!

Keep in mind though that the fear effect from dragonborn ends if you damage, which your aura automatically does. Now of course you still have undead which pztches up a bunch of things quite a bit, but it only lasts a turn and can only be applied to the number of foe's hit. Dragon fear however is useful for a divide and conquer strategy.

This is a pretty dope build! It's got solid lockdown and good damage potential. I would see if I could get Superior technique as a fighting style to get menacing attack, or ambush to boost your initiative to get the buffs going sooner. All in all, solid build!

I like using sentinel to stop enemies fleeing, along with polearm later for the extra range and oppertunity attack whenever enemies approach within 10 ft. This will take a while to get going but walking into a group of enemies, then fearing them just out of 10ft makes eveyone either freeze or they come toward you and get hit and can't move while you are 10ft away and cant be hit with melee weapons that aren't reach. Damage wont be too high but freezing a group of enemies in their tracks while you are just out of reach for melee makes being hit a lot less likely, while any spellcaster can crowd control the hell out of the group of guys you just froze.

Definitely an interesting build. Personally I go Hexblade warlock to focus on charisma for everything, get the shield reaction spell as well as have a greater melee punch for those enemies you can’t frighten.

Hexblade is always viable. I just didn't want all of my Paladin videos to be the same

@@DapperSnapperGaming Both Undead and Hexblade are good choices. But yeah I see your point, Hexblade overall is just sooooo much better than other warlock choices for most multiclass builds.

How do you get those stats? This isn't standard array. This isn't point buy, too many points and you cant go over 15. Are these stats rolled? Asking because I'm searching for a good build and would like to try it.

Like I say in all my videos this is a modified standard array. I've used this for years and lots of others do too. Because everyone does stats slightly differently, there will always be adjustments that need to be made

Honestly I wish all DMs either used a modified Standard Array like this or let players roll for stats. Base PB and SA create such basic characters.

Way too strong based on what? I think it's a great array. Let's players start feeling like actual heroes instead of weak scrubs that SA or PB forces upon them.
