I made it for the second time and now I followed your orientation about the cooking time: 12 to 15 minutes. First I was afraid, but they came out perfect after a few minutes cooling down. The vanilla cake recipe I did for my birthday and was incredible.

I made this recipe last night. The cookies turn out to be the best cookies I have ever mad. I omitted the cinnamon. Instead of chocolate chip I added chopped pecans, a little bet less of white sugar. Instead of rice crispy cereal I used Wheaties cereal. Oh boy! Very good! The pecans added a good flavor to this cookies.

Best recipe ever! I'm not a baker at all really but I followed all the way through and my cookies came out perfectly! I usually mess up everything I try and cook but these came out the oven just like you said, soft and chewy in the middle and crispy on the outside. I put raisins and apples with mine and it was so nice I have no words for how nice it was. I used your measurements and yielded about 22 cookies. Will be making them again very soon, thanks!

I mixed a batch as per instructions and made a test batch of 4 cookies....they were awesome! Crispy on the edges soft in the middle... I also added powdered cardamom and it tastes amazing! Thanks a lot for this amazing recipe!

Tried this receipt and they are best oatmeal cookies I have had so far! The only things changed is I used 55% of real butter and 45% of margarine, and I did not have the old fashion oatmeal so I used the instant one.But still...they are delicious! I just baked a second small batch. I used 1/2 cup unsalted butter with a 1/2 cup of Crisco with the 1 tablespoon of water recommended (really bc I did not have enough butter on hand). I followed everything else to the T. The kosher salt really made a difference in flavor. Also depending on size of the cookie, keep a close eye during baking. My cookies only needed 12 min. Leaving the 1st batch in for 15 darkened them Way too much, although they were not burnt. Another great recipe. Thank you!! :)
